Key Responsibilities

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Strong Middle Product Designer to work under Product Owner supervision, and design the product experience that turns complex workflow intelligence into clear, trustworthy actions for busy operators.
 

Graphio.ai reconstructs cross-team workflows from API-enabled metadata, automatically generates an ideal workflow (golden path), detects deviations that signal broken handoffs, and delivers weekly/monthly reporting to a single accountable owner. Your job is to make this feel obvious: what the system found, why it matters, what to do next, and how to tune it - all without overwhelming the user.
 

This is a B2B SaaS product used by senior operators. The bar for clarity, speed, and confidence is set high.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end product design from UX research and user testing to final UI, including dev-ready handoff.
• Make complex output understandable and trustworthy: decision support, and “what changed / what to do now” flows that drive action.
• Partner closely with the Product Manager, Machine Learning and AI specialists, and Software Engineers to turn model outputs into user-ready experiences and to iterate quickly.
• Maintain a scalable design system (components, variables) to keep the product consistent and fast to build.
• Lead user research in a pragmatic way: interviews, usability tests, and lightweight validation with operators to uncover confusion, friction, and adoption blockers.
• Design onboarding and first-time experience flows that support fast rollout and short time-to-value, without workflow changes.
• Use product data and qualitative feedback to identify drop-offs, iterate on UX, and improve engagement with reports and alerts.
• Raise the overall quality bar: establish design principles for clarity, actionability, and trust in AI-driven insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, analytics, workflow tools, or data-heavy products.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end thinking: problem framing, exploration, trade-offs, and shipped outcomes.
• Experience designing for complex data, decision-support, or “insights-to-action” products (not just dashboards).
• Strong systems thinking: ability to turn complex datasets into clear information architecture and interactions.
• Strong decision making capabilities and self-sufficiency.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Comfort collaborating closely with engineers and iterating quickly in a startup environment.
• Understanding of accessibility, usability best practices, and how to design for busy operators.
• Nice to have: familiarity with front-end constraints (HTML/CSS/JS), design for enterprise settings, and experience with AI-assisted product experiences.

At Graphio.ai we run a high-ownership, mission-driven team with clear operating rules. Please read these carefully before applying:

• LinkedIn profile is required (company policy). Employees are required to keep a current LinkedIn profile that shows their Graphio.ai position and is linked to the official Graphio.ai company page (company logo visible on the profile). Profile standards are provided during onboarding.
• Synchronized team vacations. The team takes coordinated time off four times per year to keep planning aligned and reduce context switching. Dates are announced in advance.
• Startup constraints. Vacation timing may be restricted during critical company periods. We plan time off as a team and communicate constraints early.
• Relocation readiness. Team members may reside in Ukraine, but must be prepared to relocate with their families to Europe or the United States if the company requests it and it becomes legally possible. Any relocation would be discussed in advance.
• Non-standard schedule. The role requires flexibility to collaborate across time zones. This may occasionally include early/late meetings depending on customer and team needs.
• US Eastern Time (ET) collaboration. This role requires regular overlap with US East Coast (ET) working hours.
• Zero slow offboarding. We run lean and fast. When the fit isn’t there, we act quickly: employment may be ended within a day and access is removed immediately.

We're looking for a senior backend engineer to own their new customer-facing API and AI services from architecture through production.

This is a high-autonomy role. You'll work directly with the founders on architectural decisions and own implementation end to end. Greenfield build, not maintenance.

What you'll own

• API development - lead a new external API end to end: OpenAPI design, framework and hosting decisions, and optimized SQL powering dynamic filtering.
• AI microservices - build and deploy agentic services that turn natural-language queries into deterministic, auditable filters. Customer-scoped auth, evaluation, and deterministic validation are core, not afterthoughts.
• Workflow builder - help design and build an n8n-style automation product: schema, execution model, scheduling, retries, persistence, and integrations.

What we're looking for

• Strong backend experience building production systems from scratch
• Python or TypeScript/Node.js, plus solid SQL and Postgres
• Designing APIs, data models, and distributed jobs with auth, idempotency, retries, and observability
• Practical experience with LLM-backed systems - agentic frameworks, RAG, structured outputs, evaluations, and deterministic validation
• Comfortable using AI tooling (Claude, Codex) to ship maintainable, modular systems without sacrificing quality
• Deployed production systems on cloud (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure fine)
• Clear product judgment and communication in ambiguous, fast-moving work
