Job Description

As a Fullstack Infrastructure Engineer in the Frontend Guild, you will build the core engines that power development at Wix. Your work will be used by every frontend engineer to ship faster and with higher quality. You’ll own projects end to end, from idea to production, at massive scale.

The role has a dual nature:

The technical side of the job will have you solve challenges across 5 main areas:

• CRM systems: A firm’s slow intake team is losing viable cases. You will build the automated email, SMS & AI workflows that ensure instant lead response and qualification.
• Case Management / Project Management systems: Staff have abandoned their system, leaving hundreds of overdue tasks. You will standardize, automate, and clear this backlog, making the system a reliable single source of truth.
• Data & Analytics: A firm owner is “gambling” on marketing, lacking clear financial data. You will build the data pipeline and profitability dashboard that provides real-time clarity.
• Automation: Staff waste hours manually copying data into 200+ confusing document templates. You will consolidate these into smart templates and build an automation that generates complex documents perfectly in seconds.
• AI: A firm is overwhelmed by repetitive tasks and suffers from low tech adoption. You will lead AI training sessions that embed practical, safe, and efficient AI use into their daily work.

The client side includes challenges like:

• Uncovering law firm operational challenges and connecting these to technical solutions

You will be handling anywhere from 1 to 4 client engagements at a time (depending on their size & complexity), owning the full implementation while being supported by a senior consultant and an extensive knowledge base of past client projects & solutions. We are building an end-to-end system that turns unknown physical parts into known, sellable products — automatically. The system ingests parts through vision and sensors, resolves identity using AI and structured knowledge, and publishes those parts into a fully integrated commerce, logistics, and search ecosystem.

This is not a research role. It is a production systems role spanning computer vision, large-scale data ingestion, retrieval systems, cloud infrastructure, and e-commerce integration.

What you will build

• A learning ingestion pipeline that identifies unknown physical parts using images, 3D data, and metadata, and improves continuously through human confirmation
• Vision and retrieval systems using multimodal embeddings and vector search to match parts across large catalogs
• A RAG-based knowledge system that ingests, parses, and normalizes manufacturer PDFs, schematics, and parts manuals into APIs
• Event-driven services that publish identified parts into inventory, commerce, shipping, and ERP workflows
• Search-optimized part representations engineered to be discoverable by Google, analytics systems, and downstream AI models

• Parts are visually similar, worn, incomplete, and inconsistent across manufacturers

• Strong backend development experience with Python and PostgreSQL (SQL Alchemy + Alembic)

• Comfortable creating new microservices from scratch, including API design and deployment pipelines

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on finance professional to own financial planning, budgeting, liquidity management, and cash forecasting. This role will partner closely with the CEO and venture investors to ensure the company maintains strong financial controls, and thoughtful capital deployment as the business scales.

This is an individual contributor role with significant ownership and influence, and the opportunity to evolve into a broader finance leadership position over time.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & Controls

• Oversee monthly close, working with external accountants as needed
• Ensure accuracy of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Establish and improve basic financial controls, processes, and reporting cadence

• Support audit, tax, and compliance processes (with external advisors)

   

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Own the annual budget and rolling forecasts (monthly / quarterly)
• Build and maintain financial models covering revenue, costs, headcount, and cash runway
• Track actuals vs. budget and explain variances with clear insights

• Support scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling for growth initiatives

   

Liquidity & Cash Management

• Manage short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting
• Monitor liquidity, burn rate, and runway
• Ensure timely planning for funding needs and capital allocation

• Oversee banking relationships and cash controls

   

Investor & Capital Planning

• Partner with venture investors on cash planning, runway analysis, and capital strategy
• Support planning and execution of capital withdrawals / distributions when applicable
• Prepare investor-ready financial materials, dashboards, and updates

• Respond to investor questions with clear, data-backed analysis

   

Strategic Support

• Act as a thought partner to leadership on pricing, unit economics, and growth trade-offs
