About the role
Qwed is a design and web development agency delivering UX/UI and WordPress projects for international clients. We're looking for a Lead Generation Manager to own our Upwork pipeline - finding the right projects, writing proposals that win, and booking qualified calls. 

Your focus isn't design or development; it's keeping a steady flow of quality leads coming in so the team stays busy with the right kind of work, most of it UX/UI with some WordPress.

What you'll do

• Monitor Upwork daily for relevant UX/UI and WordPress projects and apply quickly to strong fits
• Write tailored, persuasive proposals (no copy-paste templates) that match each client's brief
• Qualify leads: filter out low-budget or poor-fit jobs, prioritize serious clients
• Book discovery calls and hand off warm, qualified leads to the team
• Manage and optimize the Upwork profile: catalog entries, response time, job-success signals
• Track outreach and conversion (applications sent, replies, calls booked, win rate)
• Suggest improvements to positioning, pricing hooks, and messaging based on what's converting

• Proven lead generation experience on Upwork (agency or freelance context)
• Strong written English (B1) - proposals need to read clearly and persuasively
• Understanding of UX/UI and WordPress services enough to speak to them credibly in proposals

About the role
You will work end-to-end on the systems that make our AI agents capable, reliable, and safe in production. This is practical engineering work close to real users and real enterprise workflows. The details matter: context building, tool design, retry and recovery paths, observability, and evaluation quality often determine whether an agent actually works in production.

What you will do

• Build and refine agent capabilities through tools, skills, and integrations that are safe, observable, and easy for LLMs to use correctly.
• Improve the agent runtime: tool calling, orchestration, error handling, handoffs, and recovery paths.
• Identify agent failure modes and improve reliability so agents fail safely instead of silently.
• Build and improve evaluation frameworks: scenarios, graders, and tooling for testing agents across multi-step workflows.
• Work closely with product and customer problems, not only isolated research tasks.
• Help shape how production-grade agent systems should be built.

What we are looking for

• Strong backend engineering experience, ideally with Python.
• You write tested, type-checked, maintainable code.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, especially Postgres/SQL.
• Good API design skills.
• Interest in LLMs beyond prompting: tool calling, context design, evaluations, observability, and failure modes.
• Ability to take a bounded problem, make a small plan, ship the change, and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Comfort working close to product problems and real users.

The Role

We are looking for detailed-oriented  AQA Engineer. This person is responsible for validating the quality of our software through thorough exploratory, functional, and regression testing. This person is analytical, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality user experiences.

Technical Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, and design documents to create detailed and comprehensive test cases and checklists
• Perform functional, integration, UI/UX, and regression testing across web, data, 3d party apps and/or API layers.
• Test on multiple browsers, devices, and screen resolutions to ensure cross-platform consistency
• Execute manual test cases and report issues with clear reproduction steps and severity levels
• Verify fixes and perform retesting and smoke testing
• Maintain test case repositories (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, etc.)
• Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman
• Use developer tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools, browser console) to investigate issues
• Track and manage bugs using tools like Jira
• Support release validation in redesign, staging and production environments or any other required.

Automation & AQA Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI and API layers using frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium

• Prioritize what to automate based on risk, stability, and ROI, complementing manual testing
• Validate data flows and transformation logic in data-driven applications by writing automated assertions against APIs and backend responses
• Build reusable utilities and selectors to support robust and maintainable test scripts
• Work closely with developers to ensure testability and coverage of edge cases
• Use version control (e.g., Git) and test reporting tools (e.g., Allure, TestNG reports) to ensure traceability
• Support debugging and root cause analysis by capturing logs, screenshots, and network traces during test execution
• Maintain a hybrid approach, knowing when to use exploratory/manual testing alongside automation to uncover UI/UX or logic-related issues

Data-Driven Application Testing

• Validate the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data throughout the user journey
• Perform data validation across frontend, backend, and database layers, including comparing displayed data with source systems or API responses
• Ensure business rules and data logic are correctly applied (e.g., filters, transformations, aggregations)
• Test the impact of edge cases and malformed data inputs on application behavior
• Perform SQL-based verification (or through data exports) to confirm data correctness, where applicable
• Validate data syncing between systems, especially in applications that consume or expose third-party data via APIs
• Monitor how updates to records, entries, or data states reflect across the application (e.g., state transitions, user-based data visibility)

Non-Technical Responsibilities

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to represent QA priorities
• Communicate bugs and quality concerns clearly to cross-functional teams
• Proactively raise red flags if requirements are unclear, incomplete, or inconsistent
• Help define and improve QA processes, checklists, and acceptance criteria

• Experience testing REST APIs (even at a basic level)
