About the Role:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will own critical platform services end-to-end—from feature definition and API design to implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. You will join a cross-functional team responsible for high-performance backend systems and data pipelines that power intelligent analytics, large-scale event processing, and workflow automation.

This role demands deep expertise in Python development, cloud platforms, and container orchestration, along with a mindset for automation, reliability, and AI-assisted development. Key Responsibilities:

• Own backend features and services throughout their lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design to deployment, monitoring, and production support.

Skills we are looking for  

• 5+ years in Product Management, Software Development, or related technical roles.
• Strong experience leading cross-functional teams, driving large-scale initiatives, and managing product roadmap aligned with business goals.

We are seeking a passionate Full-Stack Software Engineer with extensive experience in PHP and JavaScript who loves engineering and the product development process. You will be responsible for developing new features, integrating systems, and optimizing and modernizing the existing codebase.

The ideal candidate has experience in:

- PHP 8.X, multiple frameworks and libraries;

- JavaScript from vanilla JS to React and ES14;

- HTML, CSS, SCSS, post-processing, scaffolding systems;

- relational databases, DB schema, and query optimization;

The product has been in development for over a year and is already being tested with early partners. This role involves working directly with the founders as one of the first engineering hires, with strong ownership and impact on product and technical decisions.

• Build and maintain full-stack features across the Next.js app, tRPC API layer, and database schema
• Own database migrations and schema design with Drizzle ORM
• Write meaningful tests — unit, integration, and E2E — as part of normal development
