What you'll do

1/ Validate AI simulation results against real market data and financials. You're the reality check between the AI and the client
2/ Build financial models that connect to the simulation platform. Scenario analysis, stress-testing, forecasting
3/ Audit available data on the client side. What exists, what's missing, what's reliable, what needs additional verification
4/ Market sizing, competitive analysis, industry benchmarking for active engagements
5/ Source and structure Ukrainian market data (harder to find than US/EU, which is exactly why we need you)
6/ QA models and deliverables for accuracy and industry relevance before they go to the client
7/ Prepare client-facing materials: presentations, analytical memos, executive summaries
 

Requirements

• Domain experience in energy, oil and gas, commodities, chemicals, manufacturing or retail. You've worked in one or more of these industries and understand their specifics, key metrics and how data is structured
• 2+ years at a Big Four firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) in consulting, audit or transaction advisory, a strategy consultancy or in an analytical/financial role at a corporation. Audit experience with Ukrainian corporates is a strong plus -- you already know what data actually exists and what doesn't.
• Financial modeling skills. You can build models from scratch in Excel/Google Sheets, not just fill in templates
• Experience structuring and presenting data for senior executives
• Comfortable working with large, unstructured datasets and extracting signal from noise
• Can work independently. We give you the project context and you run with it
• Ukrainian -- fluent
• English -- B2+. Team communication and internal deliverables are in English
   

Big plus

• Experience with M&A due diligence, transaction advisory or corporate development
• Market sizing, competitive benchmarking, industry landscape analysis
• Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or similar) for research and analysis acceleration
• Experience with scenario planning, simulations or wargaming
• Worked at a startup or fast-moving team where you covered multiple roles at once
• Accounting, audit or financial reporting background

Not for you if

• You've only done advisory and never built the models yourself

Compensation

• Hourly rate, discussed individually based on experience
• Part-time contract, 10-20 hours per week
• Potential to scale hours or convert to ongoing retainer as engagements grow

We’re hiring a part-time Symfony Developer to help maintain and improve our current application while we build our new platform. This role is ideal for someone who can step into an existing codebase, handle ongoing technical needs, and make thoughtful small updates that keep the product running smoothly.

You’re not just someone who writes code. You understand how features should work from both a business and user perspective, and you can make practical decisions inside an existing application.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and improve our existing Symfony application
• Handle bug fixes, small feature updates, and general technical upkeep
• Refactor parts of the codebase where needed for stability and maintainability
• Support the team with development tasks as they come up while the new app is in progress
• Think through business logic and user flow, not just code implementation
• Test your work carefully—there is no dedicated QA team
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and team when needed
   

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Symfony experience (Symfony 4.4+ and Doctrine)
• Strong understanding of MySQL and database structure
• Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Product-minded: you care about how things should work, not just whether the code runs
• Comfortable working in an existing codebase and making thoughtful improvements
• Familiarity with frontend environments; our frontend is Angular
• Fluent in English

• Available for at least 4 hours of overlap with 9 AM–6 PM EST

Our Client is the largest bank in the Caribbean region that serves 14 countries/territories. The aim is to transform this organization from a traditional bank into a new era of fintech, leveraging the cutting-edge of current fintech offerings.

This role focuses on designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with BIAN standards, supporting MDM and ODS layers, and enabling integration across modern cloud-based data platforms.

Responsibilities:
 

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Develop and evolve canonical data models and entity definitions aligned with BIAN service domains.
• Produce and maintain Logical Data Models (LDM) and Physical Data Models (PDM) using modern modeling tools.
• Define and enforce data modeling standards, including naming conventions, normalization, keys, and relationships.
• Design master and reference data structures supporting MDM and Operational Data Store (ODS) layers.
