What You Will Own

— Product UX & Product Experience strategy across Solidgate products
— Design as a system, not a service: principles, standards, rituals, and scalable practices
— Customer insight & feedback loop: turning customer signals into clear UX and product improvements
— UX involvement in sales demos, custom solutions, and merchant-facing initiatives, ensuring product clarity and consistency
— Experience-driven roll-out of new features: how customers discover, understand, and adopt new capabilities
— Close collaboration with Product Managers to embed UX thinking into discovery, prioritization, and decision-making
— Leadership of the Product Design function as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript / TypeScript) to build and maintain end-to-end test coverage for a modern web application. The role focuses on web UI and key user flows, close collaboration with developers, and creating stable, maintainable automated tests using Playwright. All testing is done from the user perspective without modifying the application code.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in QA, including test automation for web applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
• Practical experience with Node.js for running and configuring test environments.
• Experience testing real web applications in staging/local environments.
  Understanding of e2e testing principles, test design, and flaky test prevention.
• Ability to perform manual ~30% and exploratory testing for complex and edge-case scenarios.
• Experience writing clear bug reports and test documentation.
• Experience working with GitHub Actions or similar CI tools for running automated tests.
   

Nice to have

• Experience working with Ruby in the context of test automation or backend testing.

• Set up and manage Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki for monitoring & logging

Security & Compliance Best Practices:

• Implement IAM best practices (least privilege, MFA, role-based access control)

• Ensure automated security patching for OS and dependencies

Backup & Disaster Recovery:

• Set up automated backups for databases & critical systems
• Implement disaster recovery plan according to RPO (Recovery Point Objective) and RTO (Recovery Time Objective)
• Test disaster recovery plans with periodic simulations
