    We are looking for a strong collaborator who can lead testing in our Broad Catalogue and Content & Popularity teams. The position requires a self-motivated individual who has mature communication skills and is willing to own testing responsibilities across multiple teams.

    • Provide testing for a team serving recommendations at scale, including:
    • Data integrity tests such as schema validation, null checks, recommendation count limits and duplicate detection.
    • API tests such as checking functionality, reliability and performance of recommendation systems.
    • Promote a culture of quality within the team - providing Test representation during discovery, requirement gathering, estimations etc.

    What you will do

    BE Engineering:

    • Design, develop, and operate production-grade .NET services
    • Work with .NET Framework 4.7, .NET 8, ASP.NET, Web API, Entity Framework
    • Design and optimize data models using MS SQL Server / PostgreSQL
    • Build and run services in AWS, using Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD
    • Ensure service reliability and performance through:
    • Clear SLIs/SLOs and capacity planning
    • Caching, retries, backoff strategies, circuit breakers
    • Secure multi-tenant access control
    • Own services end-to-end: design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and support
    • Contribute to architecture and design reviews
    • Improve code quality through code reviews, refactoring, and best practices

    AI Enablement:

    • Integrate AI/LLM providers behind clean, provider-agnostic abstractions
    • Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG): chunking, embeddings, vector search
    • Build safe AI flows with: Context scoping and validation, β€œCannot answer” scenarios, Prompt-injection defenses
    • Add evaluation and observability: Offline and online quality metrics, Monitoring tied to product KPIs
    • Create reusable AI components (libraries, middleware, templates) adopted by other teams
    • Share knowledge on safe and scalable AI usage

     

    What you bring

    • Strong experience with C# / .NET in production environments
    • Solid knowledge of ASP.NET, Web API, Entity Framework
    • Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
    • Hands-on experience with AWS
    • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
    • Understanding of distributed systems, performance tuning, and reliability patterns
    • Experience working in cross-functional product teams
    • Strong written and spoken English (B2 level or above)

    AI Skills (strong advantage)

    • Experience with retrieval & vector search (embeddings, chunking, hybrid search)
    • Integration with LLM providers (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or open-source models)
    • Experience with: structured outputs, streaming responses, provider-agnostic AI abstractions

    Product.
    We developed a POS solution that allows providing attended (employee) and unattended (customer) tunnel car washing service. There are two labs:
    1. One in USA (Ohio)
    2. One in Ukraine (Lviv)

    Both support the USA and Canadian markets. One hardware set includes several points on sale, a set of different sensors, readers and cameras, payment terminals, servers, and automatic gates.
    Ukrainian team develops a PWA application and a hybrid web application (.Net & Angular) that operates on hardware & cloud and supports full customer flow: from customer recognition or account creation to sale & directing their car to a tunnel. All embedded development is on the client’s side. Some teams have hardware dependencies based on the areas of the application they work with, meaning office presence is necessary.

    Flow.
    SCRUM, 2-week sprints, releases every 3 weeks. Sprints include mandatory daily stand-ups, grooming, planning, demos, and retro sessions
     

    Requirements:

    • Strong PowerBI knowledge and practical experience;
    • Strong DevExpress knowledge and practical experience;
    • Good .net knowledge and practical experience;

     

    • Able to work with the customer’s stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements;
    • SQL skills are a must to produce efficient reports;
    • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
    • SQL, ETL Tools, and Relational/Non-Relational Databases is advantages;
