Project Description:

• We are running a system modernization initiative to migrate a legacy enterprise application built with PowerBuilder to a modern Java-based platform for a big US insurance company.

Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (Flask)
● Support and enhance existing functionality to ensure high performance and reliability
● Design and implement new features in a microservices architecture
● Build, deploy, and manage the product on AWS
● Work with SQL databases, Redis, and Elasticsearch for data storage and processing
● Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Requirements:
● 5+ years of experience in commercial Python development
● Minimum 3 years of experience with Flask
● Strong knowledge of SQL databases
● Hands-on expertise with Redis
● Experience with AWS services
● Experience working with microservices architecture
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
● At least Upper-Intermediate English level
● Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus

IF YOU ARE

• An experienced Android Software Engineer (3+ years)
• Familiar with Android technologies such as Jetpack, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, GraphQL, and Android Studio
• Knowledgeable of mobile development best practices
• Understanding the client/server architectures in complex and large-scale solutions
• Familiar with test automation frameworks, microservice design, continuous delivery, and automated deployments
• Aware of app development lifecycle
• Skillfully driving technical discussions and decisions across functional teams and organizations
• Capable of maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client side
