Responsibilities:
-Eliminate toil through automation, re-architecting, and refactoring — not just patching
symptoms.
-Approach every incident with an "Automate Everything" mindset so the same problem

-Pair with software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents down to

-Guide and unblock developers across multiple teams so they can keep shipping with

-Define SLOs and error quotas for production services; own and manage the error

-Own the GitOps workflow via ArgoCD — every deployment is Git-defined, automated,
and reproducible.
-Write or review postmortems after incidents; track corrective actions to completion.
Participate in the follow-the-sun on-call rota and actively champion our DevOps

What does an average day look like?
You'll proactively support production workloads, troubleshoot issues to their root cause,
and write or review postmortems once incidents are resolved. You'll continuously identify
weaknesses in infrastructure and observability and feed them into the improvement
backlog.

• Proven experience designing and developing complex ETL/ELT workflows following BI and data engineering best practices
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, including partitioning, clustering, query optimization, and cost management
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize complex analytical queries using Google SQL
• Proficiency in Python and data processing libraries such as Pandas and PySpark
• Solid knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services, including Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, DataForm, IAM, and service accounts

We are looking for an RBO Solution Architect who will drive the architecture and continuous evolution of the Bank's Remote Banking (RBO) platform. The primary goal of this role is to design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions that align business needs with enterprise architecture principles. You will ensure architectural consistency, regulatory compliance, and technical excellence while enabling the delivery of reliable digital banking services and supporting the platform's long-term modernization.

Your future responsibilities:

• Primary contact for the business on technical and architectural questions
• Build and maintain the Software Architecture Document (SAD) with both business and technical architecture
• Collaborate with business analysts for requirements gathering, risk assessment, and ensuring alignment of solution architecture with business strategy
• Prepare IT solution documents compliant with Enterprise Architecture principles and banking compliance requirements
• Assure compliance of APIs with technical standards and security best practices (JWT, OAuth 2.0, RBAC, OWASP Top 10)
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to teams: code reviews, architectural best practices, and technical problem-solving

Your skills and experience:

• Deep knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture, performance troubleshooting and best practices with hands on implementations in production
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), enterprise integration patterns, and resilience patterns (Circuit Breaker, Saga)
• Knowledge with Java, Spring Boot, and modern programming practices (clean code, testing, algorithm design)
• Familiarity with modern AI development and product lifecycle management approaches
