    We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior System Administrator to maintain and develop our internal production infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient and efficient and possess the skills and vision necessary to automate, optimize, and reduce costs associated with our infrastructure.

     

    Requirements:

    -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, -Information Systems or related field; Master’s preferred;

    -Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Proxmox virtualization environments, including expertise in live migration, high-availability configurations, and clustering setups;

    -At least 5 years of experience in network management, specifically with Mikrotik routers and switches, including a strong understanding of DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLAN, routing, switching, NAT, and bonding;

    -Solid background in both Windows and Linux system administration;

    -Proficiency in managing Active Directory and scripting with Bash and PowerShell;

    -Experience with Linstor or similar storage solutions and thorough understanding of backup and restoration strategies for complex environments;

    -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;

    -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

     

    Responsibilities:

    -Maintain and develop the internal production infrastructure;

    -Implement strategies to ensure infrastructure resiliency and cost efficiency;

    -Automate and optimize infrastructure processes;

    -Design and maintain a robust, secure, and scalable Proxmox virtualization environment;

    -Implement and manage Mikrotik network configurations ensuring efficient routing, switching, and network services;

    -Develop and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems;

    -Automate repetitive system administration tasks using Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Puppet;

    -Participate in the design and execution of backup and restoration procedures;

    -Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and lead resolution efforts;

    -Maintain documentation for system architectures, configurations, procedures, and service records;

    -Contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT operations by staying informed of new technologies and best practices.

     

    Will be a plus:

    -Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet;

    -Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker;

    -Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions like Zabbix, Grafana, ELK, and Prometheus;

    -Experience with VPN solutions like SoftEther.
