Key Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of REST API design – you’ve built and maintained public or partner-facing APIs and know what good looks like
• Experience with data synchronization patterns: webhooks, polling, event-driven architectures, retry logic, idempotency
• Strong SQL knowledge: you write clean queries, understand indexes, and can reason about query performance at scale
• Proven ability to articulate and justify architectural decisions: weighing trade-offs around reliability, scalability, and maintainability
• Comfortable working in Git-based workflows with pull requests, branches, and CI gates

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications using TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, NestJS, and React.js 
• Implement new functionality from scratch, including role-based access control services, API integration services, and custom endpoints 
• Work in an AI-augmented development environment, leveraging tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Microsoft Copilot 
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define, design, and deliver new features 
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance through critical evaluation of AI-generated outputs 
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to team planning, estimation, and retrospectives 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial development experience with a focus on TypeScript/JavaScript 
• Proven expertise in Node.js, NestJS, React.js, Next.js, and REST API development 
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot, or similar) 
• Ability to write clear prompts for code generation and refactoring

We are hiring Junior AI Developers who think fast, learn faster, and are already productive with modern AI-assisted development workflows.

You will work directly under the Tech Director and grow into autonomous AI engineers capable of owning full delivery pipelines.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of hands-on software development experience (commercial or substantial personal projects)
• Demonstrable proficiency with AI coding tools: Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of at least one: TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
• Experience deploying web applications (Vercel, Netlify, or similar)
• Understanding of LLM fundamentals: prompting, context windows, token management, tool use
• Ability to read, debug, and refactor AI-generated code critically — not just accept output blindly
• Git proficiency and basic CI/CD awareness
