    We are building a world-class AI research unit and are looking for an experienced AI Research Scientist to strengthen our team. Since this unit is still young, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape its direction, contribute to its growth, and help establish it as a leader in AI research.

    In this role, you will:

    • Drive cutting-edge research in fields critical to our AI research unit’s objectives, leading to innovative solutions and contributions to scientific advancement in key directions (e.g. Local LLMs, Agents, Reinforcement Learning, 3D, etc.)
    • Take ownership of research initiatives from ideation to implementation, and personally conduct key aspects of the research
    • Bridge the gap between advanced research and real-world applications by integrating state-of-the-art research results into our products 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that scientific innovations enhance product functionality and deliver measurable value to the customers
    • Deliver high-impact research that results in publications accepted at top-tier AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ACL, CVPR). Represent the organization as a speaker, establishing the research team as a world-class unit through exceptional contributions and scientific discourse
    • Organize and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for research teams and stakeholders, covering analysis methods, research processes, and successful implementation cases
    • Provide mentoring and opportunities for students and other fellow employees
       

     

    Skills you’ll need to bring:

    • Prior experience as an AI Research Scientist with a proven innovation track record
    • Strong record of publications, preferably at top-tier AI conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ECCV, ICLR, etc.
    • Proven expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multimodal LLMs (MLLMs), hands-on experience with training, fine-tuning, and optimizing models for various applications
    • Experience in leading research initiatives from ideation to deployment
    • Proven ability to bridge academic research with industry needs by developing scalable AI solutions that create measurable value
    • Experience in translating cutting-edge research into practical applications, integrating state-of-the-art models into real-world products and production environments
    • Experience mentoring junior researchers, students, and colleagues in AI domains
    • Advanced level of English

    Your Responsibilities

    • Develop & Maintain Automation Tests – Build reliable, scalable, and maintainable test scripts using Java Selenide or Selenium for web applications.
    • Ensure Comprehensive Test Coverage – Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure thorough testing.
    • Execute & Optimize Tests – Implement and run automated test cases to validate functionality, performance, and scalability of our web-based applications.
    • Defect Identification & Resolution – Detect, report, and collaborate with developers to fix issues efficiently.
    • Improve & Innovate – Continuously enhance test automation strategies and keep up with the latest industry trends.
    • Participate in Agile Processes – Engage in test planning, estimation, and review sessions.

     

    What We’re Looking For

    • Proven Experience – At least 1 year of commercial experience as an AQA Engineer or a similar role.
    • Java Expertise – Strong proficiency in Java and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
    • Selenide or Selenium Knowledge – Hands-on experience in automation frameworks for web applications.
    • Page Object Model (POM) Mastery – Proficiency in designing scalable and maintainable test automation solutions using POM.
    • Web Technologies – Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
    • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – A keen eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot efficiently.
    • Strong Team Collaboration – Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

     

    Preferred Location & Setup:

    • Office (no remote) position.
    • Candidates based in Ternopil, Ukraine, are preferred only.
