We are looking for a Fractional Head of Technology / CTO to work with our core development team as the system scales. This is a senior, peer-level role for someone with deep C++ and low-latency systems experience who has built and shipped real production trading infrastructure.

    The Role

• As a Fractional Head of Technology / CTO, you will operate as a technical partner to existing engineering leadership. The system already has clear ownership and strong execution
• As it grows, we see value in adding senior architectural perspective to help the team scale in a structured way
• This role exists to reduce technical risk, enhance clarity and focus - without disrupting existing ownership or day-to-day execution
• Your contribution is primarily in helping the team choose the right trade-offs, avoid unnecessary complexity, and move the system toward stable high throughput mode
• This role is designed for someone who has personally built and operated complex systems and enjoys helping other strong engineers do the same. This is a leverage role: limited hours, high impact
  
  Responsibilities
• You will work as a peer to the lead engineers and executive team to: Validate and advise on critical technical decisions
• Provide guidance on prioritization and trade-offs where needed, review progress Identify sources of: unnecessary complexity, hidden performance or reliability risks
• Reinforce coding standards, architectural principles, and best practices
• Provide high-level review of system structure and boundaries
