Senior Marketing Manager (Acquisition) — iGaming

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to take ownership of the centralized acquisition function within an iGaming group, with a clear path to the CMO role.

The function covers Media Buying, Affiliates, and SEO. The team acquires traffic centrally and distributes it across the group's B2C brands.

For us, marketing is first and foremost about economics. We are not looking for a brand marketer, but for a strong performance/acquisition specialist who can take ownership of traffic quality, payback, and the financial results of the entire acquisition function.

The most important thing about this role

This role needs full autonomy. We expect you to take ownership, not to ask what to do next. You identify the problem, make the analysis, and come with a ready solution. You are fully accountable for the budget you manage and for hitting your KPIs, with no one managing you step by step.

Responsibilities

• Own Media Buying, Affiliates, and SEO: teams, processes, budgets, and KPIs.
• Build and execute a unified acquisition strategy across brands and GEOs.
• Own acquisition economics throughout the entire player lifecycle, from acquisition to retention, LTV, and payback.
• Analyze traffic performance at GEO / source / campaign / affiliate / cohort level.
• Control traffic quality and fight fraud, motivated traffic, bonus abuse, multi-accounting, and other low-quality sources.
• Build and optimize funnels together with CRM/Retention and Product teams.
• Optimize team structure, processes, and costs.
• Implement AI and automation across analytics, marketing, and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in iGaming acquisition / performance marketing, with ownership of a channel, team, or budget (Team Lead, Head of Channel, or Senior Manager level).
• Deep understanding of Media Buying, Affiliate Marketing, and SEO.
• Strong understanding of the full player lifecycle: acquisition → deposit → retention → LTV.
• Strong command of unit economics and key metrics: CPA, FTD, retention, LTV, ROI/ROMI, and payback.
• Deep understanding of fraud and traffic quality assessment.
• Experience managing significant marketing budgets and scaling only when the economics are supported by data.
• Strong analytical skills; you work with the numbers yourself and make data-driven decisions.
• Advanced hands-on experience with AI and automation: AI agents, agentic workflows, coding agents, Claude Code / Codex, or similar tools. Using an LLM as a chat interface is not enough.
• Experience managing and improving performance teams.
• A track record of working independently: owning decisions, results, and budgets end to end.

About the Role

APOPO is implementing a new version of its ODOO ERP system across its operations. The ERP and IT Systems Specialist will serve as the local point of contact in Ukraine for ODOO user support, training and implementation.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute the overall media buying strategy across multiple paid acquisition channels.
* Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Media Buying team.
* Own the full campaign lifecycle - from launch to continuous optimization and scaling.
* Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven optimization decisions to maximize ROI, ROAS, and profitability.
* Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize targeting, bidding strategies, creatives, placements, funnels, and budgets.
* Design and implement A/B testing strategies to continuously improve campaign performance.
* Allocate and manage advertising budgets across traffic sources to maximize efficiency.
* Explore, test, and scale new traffic sources, GEOs, audiences, and ad formats.
* Work closely with Product, BI, Analytics, CRM, Creative, and Tech teams to improve acquisition performance.
* Establish best practices, processes, and optimization frameworks across the Media Buying department.

Requirements:

*4+ years of experience in performance marketing/media buying.
* 2+ years of experience leading media buying teams in Dating vertical
* Strong hands-on experience with Native Ads, Facebook, Google, TikTok, DSPs, or other paid traffic sources.
* Proven track record of scaling profitable acquisition campaigns.
* Deep understanding of attribution, tracking, analytics, and performance metrics.
* Experience managing seven-figure monthly advertising budgets.
* Strong analytical mindset with excellent decision-making skills.
* Experience working with BI tools, tracking platforms, and attribution systems.
