You will lead the infrastructure strategy, CI/CD, cloud security, and platform reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Infrastructure & Platform Leadership: Define and deliver the DevOps and infrastructure roadmap. Lead a team responsible for IaC, cloud security, and automation. Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline delivery. Cloud & Architecture: Oversee and optimize a highly available AWS setup using Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, Fargate, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB across multiple availability zones. Ensure API and data delivery performance for front-end applications built with Deck.GL and React. CI/CD & Automation: Manage release pipelines using GitHub, Confluence, and Jira. Maintain reliable CI/CD processes for serverless backends and React front ends. Use CloudFormation (or Terraform) for IaC. Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain secure infrastructure using WAF, Cognito, KMS, Secrets Manager, and CloudTrail. Ensure compliance with governance and access control standards. Observability & Operational Excellence: Drive monitoring, alerting, and incident response using CloudWatch and Systems Manager. Define SLAs/SLOs and implement cost optimization strategies.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential Qualifications:

1. 5+ years in DevOps/SRE roles; 3+ years in a leadership role
2. Strong experience with AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB)
3. Proficiency with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD systems
4. Expertise in CloudFormation (or equivalent IaC tools)

Nice to Have

1. Experience with geospatial data or visualization platforms
2. Familiarity with both REST and event-driven architectures
3. Background in compliance-sensitive or highly available environments
