About the Role

The company is developing a consumer commerce platform that combines real-time 3D interactions with the purchase of physical products, including a real-money wallet and operational workflows. The technology stack is built entirely around TypeScript. The engineering team is small and experienced, working closely with the CTO. This role is for a highly experienced individual contributor to take technical ownership of backend architecture across a customer-facing web product, an internal operations platform, and supporting services. A key part of the role involves systems where correctness and reliability have direct financial impact, such as wallet and ledger functionality, transaction settlement, verifiable outcome generation, and fulfillment workflows. The platform uses an event-driven architecture within a TypeScript monorepo, including Fastify BFF services, asynchronous workers, shared domain components backed by PostgreSQL, MongoDB for analytics, Valkey for caching, RabbitMQ for messaging, and S3-compatible storage with CDN. Infrastructure runs on AWS ECS with infrastructure-as-code and automated CI/CD. You will work closely with the CTO on architectural direction and platform evolution.
 

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of architectural decisions across backend services, including service boundaries, data ownership, idempotency, outbox patterns, caching, and failure handling.
• Document important technical decisions and revisit them as requirements and system constraints evolve.
• Design and evolve financially sensitive functionality, including double-entry wallet accounting, payments and withdrawals, inventory settlement, and auditable outcome-generation mechanisms.
• Work across layers when necessary, from database schemas and Drizzle migrations through domain logic, Fastify APIs, asynchronous consumers, and React interfaces.

Requirements

Wow-How Studio is an international creative production studio specializing in animation and visual content. We create 2D/3D animation, motion design, video, CGI, and other digital content for international clients. Our in-house creative team works on projects end-to-end — from concept development to production and final delivery.

We are looking for a Producer who will take ownership of client projects from kick-off to final delivery, coordinate the creative team, and make sure the production process runs smoothly.

What you’ll do

Project delivery

• Own projects end-to-end, from kick-off to final delivery
• Plan and maintain project timelines, milestones, resources, and priorities
• Coordinate several projects simultaneously and keep them moving according to plan
• Monitor deadlines, scope, revision rounds, hours, and budgets

We're looking for an engineer with hands-on experience building and evaluating GenAI services - from RAG and agentic reasoning systems to production-grade LLM deployments. You'll work closely with Frontend and Backend teams to bring AI agents into real products, with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and shipping working prototypes fast.

Hard Skills:

• Practical experience developing and evaluating GenAI services, including RAG systems, understanding of the "ReAct" (Reasoning + Acting) paradigm and Agentic RAG, LLM API integration, and prompt/context engineering, as well as training, fine-tuning, and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Knowledge of ML/GenAI frameworks: LangGraph or LangChain, PyTorch / TensorFlow, Hugging Face, OpenAI/Anthropic SDK.
• Practical commercial experience working with AI models via API (Gemini, Anthropic) and self-hosted models (Llama 3, Mistral, Mixtral), with an understanding of model differences based on functional/non-functional requirements (FR/NFR).

• Knowledge of Human-in-the-loop mechanisms, ensuring agents cannot execute actions without final user verification.
• Ability to design memory systems that store context from a client's previous conversations and operations for personalization (Long-term Memory & User Context).
