About the Role:

About the role:

💪 YOUR QUEST-LINE:

• Shape and lead payment performance strategy, including defining success metrics, monitoring efficiency, and identifying growth and optimization opportunities;
• Drive market research and identify strategic opportunities for launching and scaling local payment methods across target GEOs;
• Own strategic relationships with key payment providers, negotiate commercial and technical improvements, and expand payment coverage across regions;
• Support and enhance current payment flows in collaboration with internal teams, aiming to boost conversion rates and minimize user disputes;

• Participate in reconciliations with external payment service providers and payment reporting;
• Address escalations or issues impacting customers, and drive projects to enhance customer experience;

• Lead and develop the Payment function - mentoring specialists, scaling knowledge, and building sustainable team processes and ownership structure.

   

👨‍🚀 YOUR IN-GAME SKIN:

• 5+ years of experience in Payment Operations / Payment Management, including leadership or ownership of payment direction;
• Strong experience building or scaling payment strategies in high-load product environments;
• Insight into payment trends and markets in North America, Europe, CIS, East Asia, and LATAM;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and derive actionable insights;
• Proven ability to manage complex problems in e-commerce payments;
• Knowledge of OFAC/AML and Risk Awareness principles;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing both strategic and tactical projects while prioritizing effectively to meet business needs;
• Experience with credit card chargebacks and risk minimization;
• Experience leading Payment teams and driving their impact on business outcomes — including team development, performance management, and capability growth;

Project Description:

The SEM product is embedded within the Geosciences Suite of Applications. This application has multiple views consisting of both 2D and 3D visualizations. The current data visualization is not sufficient for what we would like it to be. This role is expected to work with the lead and the product owner to understand the current shortcomings, investigate and research potential solutions, propose these solutions to the teams, and then work on the implementation of the agreed upon work. To get to this stage, the developers will also need to learn the inner workings of the visualization framework within Geoscience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain graphics-intensive modules within the Geoscience platform using C++ or Java and OpenGL.
• Implement advanced 2D and 3D visualization features for seismic, geological, and geospatial data.
• Optimize rendering performance and ensure cross-platform compatibility, particularly in Linux environments.
• Collaborate with geoscientists and software engineers to translate domain-specific requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality software standards.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in graphics technologies and geoscience applications.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Geoscience, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development with a focus on graphics programming.
• Proficiency in OpenGL and related graphics libraries for rendering complex datasets.
• Strong experience working in Linux environments, including shell scripting and system optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Experience with geoscience software platforms.
• Familiarity with geoscience data formats and visualization techniques.

Role Mission

You’ll own the quality automation layer of our product.

Instead of manually clicking through features, you’ll focus on building strong automated end-to-end coverage that makes it genuinely hard for bugs to reach production. Your work ensures confidence in every release by embedding quality directly into our CI pipeline and using modern AI tooling to move fast and smart.

What You’ll Do

1) Build & Maintain an E2E Test Suite

• Implement end-to-end tests using Playwright and TypeScript
• Cover critical user journeys such as:
  • Onboarding
  • Core product flows
  • Payments
  • Outputs and results
• Add regression tests for every discovered bug to prevent recurrence

2) Integrate Tests into CI

• Run E2E tests automatically on every PR via GitHub Actions
• Block merges when critical flows fail
• Keep test execution fast, reliable, and stable

3) Translate Product Behavior into Test Coverage

• Review PRDs, tickets, and feature descriptions
• Decide what should be covered by automation vs. manual checks
• Build and maintain a system risk map to guide testing priorities

4) Work with AI-Assisted QA Workflows

• Use AI tools to generate, review, and improve test cases
• Review PR diffs with AI to identify where new E2E coverage is needed
• Continuously evolve test coverage as the codebase changes

5) Reduce Manual QA Over Time

• Success in this role means less manual regression testing month over month
• Automation should increasingly replace repetitive QA work
