    Project Overview

We are building production-grade browser automation systems that power complex, real-world workflows in highly constrained environments. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own and evolve automation that operates in unreliable, changing, and security-restricted browser environmentsβ€”and must run consistently at scale.

    Responsibilities

This role is not about one-off scripts or basic scraping. You will design resilient, long-running automation workflows that handle partial success, retries, UI changes, and real-world failure modes across external web portals. Your work will directly reduce manual effort and turnaround time by translating complex workflows into durable automation systems that run in production every day. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to design and operate automation infrastructure that supports critical business processes where modern APIs or integrations are limited or unavailable. Requirements (Must-have)
    - Strong software engineering background with production experience in browser automation
     - Ability to design long-running, fault-tolerant automation workflows - Hands-on experience handling unreliable external systems and changing UIs
    - Comfort owning automation systems end-to-end: design, implementation, monitoring, and debugging
     - 4–6+ years of professional software engineering experience
     - Strong proficiency in Python
     - Hands-on experience with browser automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Puppeteer)
     - Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser developer tools
     - Experience running browser automation in production environments
     - Familiarity with asynchronous programming, background workers, and job queues
     - Experience designing systems with retries, idempotency, and partial failure handling
     - Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces
     - Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
     - Clear communicator, comfortable working with cross-functional teams

     Nice to Have

     - Experience operating headless browsers or automation workers at scale
     - Familiarity with TypeScript and Node.js for backend services or internal tooling
     - Experience working with complex external portals (e.g., healthcare, insurance, finance)
     - Knowledge of industry data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
     - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker)
     - Background in building internal platforms, developer tooling, or automation infrastructure

    About Us

We're revolutionizing international commerce by enabling fast, seamless global shipping for direct-to-consumer brands. We've built a sophisticated software platform that orchestrates complex supply chains across warehouses, airlines, customs systems, and carriers, turning the complexity of cross-border logistics into a seamless customer experience for international shoppers. Our technology connects brands to new markets and helps customers access products they love regardless of geography. If you're passionate about solving complex technical challenges and building the infrastructure that powers global commerce, join our team of builders and innovators reshaping supply chains and connecting people. In recent months, we have secured critical new partnerships and traction and are looking for new teammates who will help us develop thoughtful systems that allow us to handle this new scale.

What it's like to work here

We’re a small, focused team taking on interesting operational and technical problems. Our team members have a high degree of autonomy, and are deeply involved in product and technical decision making. Working with us, you’ll get to investigate complicated logistics problems to develop opinionated, first-principles solutions.

In a typical day, you might

    • Collaborate on product direction and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
    • Design and build features end to end, from API to UI, alongside collaborative teammates
    • Troubleshoot live issues with stakeholders such as warehouse or fulfillment partners
    • Work with a developer-friendly, modern stack
    • Contribute to a culture that values thoughtful discussion, quick iteration, and high standards

    What we’re looking for

We're looking for a seasoned full-stack engineer who enjoys owning new features, working directly with stakeholders, and is motivated to iterate until a problem is solved. Our ideal teammate is reactive when a critical issue arises, but is also willing to take the time to work through a fully realized solution over a longer time scale.

    What you offer

    • 6+ years of experience building scalable web applications with real-world usage
    • A strong product mindset, with an eye for intuitive UI/UX and practical design
    • The ability to lead technical projects and influence architecture across the codebase
    • A track record of solving complex, open-ended problems independently
    • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego attitude
    • Deep expertise with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, browser APIs)
    • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js. Serverless experience is a plus
    • Significant experience designing and integrating APIs
    • A solid understanding of event-driven architecture and scalable systems design

    • Back: Java Node.js, TS MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB NestJS, REST Serverless framework, Kubernetes, Microservices Integrations (Stripe, Google Pay/Apple Pay)

    Primary Requirements

If you like ownership, fast pace, and seeing direct impact from your work, we would love to meet you!

    What are your responsibilities?

    • Own the full sales cycle from first qualified meeting to closed-won, ensuring a healthy pipeline and predictable revenue
    • Run discovery calls and demos with founders and CFOs, clearly connecting their business challenges to Fuelfinance’s value
    • Build and execute pipeline generation together with Business Development and Marketing
    • Lead commercial negotiations in line with company policies and margin targets

    • English C1
    • Experience owning the full sales cycle: from pipeline generation to closing
    • Practical understanding of B2B sales methodologies
    • Strong grasp of revenue metrics and funnel economics
    • Proven quota ownership with clear performance results
    • Background in early-stage or scaling companies, comfortable with change and ambiguity
    • Experience working directly with founders or C-level executives
    • Results-driven mindset
    • Strong deal strategy and negotiation skills

    Nice-to-have:

    • Experience in the fintech or financial services industries
    • Familiarity with FP&A, financial modeling, or CFO-level workflows

    • Culture fit interview
    • Role-play call
    • Final interview with the CEO

    Why work with us?

    • Be a core revenue driver in a company transforming how SMBs manage finances
    • Work directly with founders and leadership on high-impact deals
    • Build a sales engine, not just operate inside one
    • High ownership, high expectations, and real growth trajectory
    • A low-ego, high-performance team culture
    • Flexible schedule, 18 paid vacation days, 10 paid sick days
