    Position Overview:

     

    As a Jira and Confluence Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our Jira and Confluence instances. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal utilization of these platforms to support our teams in project management, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    1. Platform Administration:

    • Administer Jira and Confluence instances, including user management, permissions configuration, and customization of workflows, issue types, and fields. Jira (server and cloud), сonfluence, Bitbucket, Crowd)

    • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as upgrades, patches, and backups to ensure system reliability and performance.

     

    2. Configuration and Customization:

    • Customize Jira workflows, screens, and dashboards to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

     

    3. Integration and Automation:

    • Integrate Jira and Confluence with other tools and systems used within the organization to facilitate seamless data flow and collaboration.

    • Implement automation rules and workflows using Jira and Confluence plugins to optimize task management and documentation processes.

     

    4. User Training and Support:

    • Provide training and support to users on Jira and Confluence functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for user inquiries and technical issues related to Jira and Confluence usage.

     

    5. Corporate IT Services:

    • Administer other corporate IT services such as Gitlab, LDAP, GCP.

    • Ensure the proper functioning and integration of these services with other business applications and systems.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in a similar position for 2 years.

    Responsibilities:

    - Serve as the liaison between customers and internal teams (prod, dev, qa, etc.)

    - Work with Solution Architects and Sales Engineers out in the field

    - Serve as the de-facto System Administrator for our hosted customers

    - Make on-site visits for critical support/solution work when necessary (very rare)

    - Be ready for early morning/ late night troubleshooting calls

    - Be ready to monitor the mailbox at the weekends (1-2 shifts per month)

    - Prior technical support or customer-facing experience of 2+ years (L2+)

    - Linux familiarity (RHEL, CentOS, Debian, etc.)
