    We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team! You’ll be a core voice in shaping how we understand our players and evolve our live game. This role is high-impact and cross-disciplinary β€” you’ll collaborate with game leadership on key features, live operations, and monetization systems while championing data strategy and analytical rigor. You bring technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a player-first mindset. You can work across both quantitative and qualitative data to tell compelling stories, identify opportunities, and drive better design and product outcomes.     IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

    • Partner with design and product leads to define analytics goals, KPIs, and core telemetry needs across combat, PvP, and live ops.
    • Lead investigations into player behavior, retention, monetization, and system-level performance.
    • Monitor and evaluate live service features and in-game economies, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Design and interpret experiments (A/B and multivariate tests) to evaluate features and live content.
    • Build dashboards, reports, and alerts using Amplitude, Grafana, and other BI tools to track real-time game health.
    • Conduct deep-dive analyses on core gameplay, progression systems, and feature usage.
    • Collaborate with engineers to ensure proper telemetry design, instrumentation, and data QA.
    • Contribute to live operations planning by forecasting outcomes, measuring impact, and recommending improvements.
    • Analyze mixed-methods data β€” combining quantitative telemetry with qualitative feedback from playtests, surveys, and community sources.
    • Build analytics pipelines and help define event tracking in a brand new, developing data environment.
    • Ensure scalability, clarity, and accuracy as our telemetry and infrastructure grow.
    • Play a key role in interpreting internal playtest data to inform feature design and UX decisions.
    • Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Help establish best practices for data literacy and mentor others across the studio in using data effectively.

     

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    • 5+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 3+ years in games (especially live service or F2P titles).
    • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex data sets.
    • Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and data storytelling.
    • Proficiency in analytics and BI tools, including Amplitude, Grafana, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
    • Excellent communication skills β€” you can explain technical findings clearly and persuasively.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with product, combat design, system design, and engineering.
    • Deep understanding of game design principles, especially around PvP systems, balance, and tuning.
    • Familiarity with in-game economy systems and monetization design principles.
    • Experience analyzing matchmaking systems, progression curves, player lifecycle, live game dynamics, and behavioral KPIs.
    • Experience mentoring others and a passion for helping build a healthy, data-informed team culture.

    Responsibilities:

    Metadata Management
    β€’ Lead onboarding of data providers onto the Data Highway platform
    β€’ Manage the complete onboarding process (end to end) of data dictionaries and related datasets related to the assigned applications
    β€’ Develop a subject matter expertise on the data dictionaries, datasets and relationships between different datasets for the assigned applications
    β€’ Ensure the data quality of data dictionaries and underlying datasets for the assigned applications. This will include working actively with data providers in resolving any conflicts, issues pertaining to data dictionaries, datasets available on Data Highway for the assigned applications

    System Analysis
    β€’ Develop deep functional knowledge on Data Highway suite of applications
    β€’ Lead and drive the system improvements across the Data Highway's suite of applications
    β€’ Develop detailed functional solution for the proposed enhancements and work with technology partners from implementation purposes
    β€’ Develop detailed understanding of underlying data model for each of the above-mentioned applications
    β€’ Work with UX/UI designers in case of any user interface-related requirements.
    β€’ Develop and execute test cases pertaining to enhancements
    β€’ Manage backlog of enhancements for the assigned module/sub-module within an application
    β€’ Work diligently on resolving any production issues reported by business users

    Mandatory Skills Description:
