About the Role: 

We’re looking for a talented and forward-thinking Data Engineer to join our team at a pivotal moment of transformation. As we completely redesign our data pipeline architecture, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping and building the next generation of our data platform. Key Responsibilities: 

• Drive the design and architecture of scalable, efficient, and resilient batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Shape the implementation of modern, distributed systems to support high-throughput data processing and real-time analytics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data-driven capabilities.
• Optimize legacy systems during the migration phase, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption.
• Contribute to DevOps and MLOps processes and enhance the reliability, monitoring, and automation of data infrastructure.
• Support the integration and deployment of AI/ML models within the evolving data platform.

Required Competence and Skills:

• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines
• Hands-on experience modern data tools such as Kafka, Airflow, Spark, or Flink
• Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL ecosystems such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch or Delta Lake
• Solid backend development experience with strong understanding of OOP/OOD principles and design patterns (Python)
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing new data architectures, especially in fast-paced or transitioning environments.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data flow logic

Nice to have:

• Exposure to MLOps and integrating ML models into production
• Experience in DevOps and asynchronous systems 
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Docker, WebSockets, and Linux environments

To support this exciting phase of growth, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Financial Officer to establish and oversee all financial aspects of our operations in Malta and globally.

Your regular tasks:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals;
- Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards, including any other relevant standards;
- Manage cash flow, P&L performance and efficient treasury operations;
- Financial control experience with a focus on prudent funds and cost management;
- Lead internal and external audits, addressing findings effectively;
- Build and manage a high-performing finance team;
- Develop financial models to aid strategic planning and scenario analysis;
- Provide actionable financial insights to support executive decision-making;
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations;
- The company may require the hired candidate to act as an official representative in interactions with regulators and authorities, and be appointed as the regulatory representative nominee with the Malta Central Bank, MFSA and any other relevant authorities;
- Data extraction, analysis and structuring for reporting purposes;

Skills & Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in financial roles within FinTech industries (EMI/PSP/ or related);
- Experience with the MFSA license;
- Experience preparing and submitting BR06 and Payments Statistics Survey (CMPSS) reports for Malta’s finance industry;
- Expertise in auditing and safeguarding accounts;
- Experience with the regulatory reporting;
- Understanding of payment systems and electronic money operations;
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS), tax regulations, and financial audit;
- Familiarity with financial reports for regulators, including Central Banks or MFSA;
- Demonstrated success in managing cash flow, liquidity, and audits;
- Experience in corporate finance, including capital structure and budgeting;
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in dynamic environments;
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, 1C, Oracle or other);
- Fluent English and Ukrainian/Russian are a must;
- Maltese language would be a plus.

Education;
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred;
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are a plus.
