We are looking for a Database Administrator to join our Infrastructure team in Lviv/Kyiv.
 

What You'll get to do:

• Install, configure, and maintain the company’s database management systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexing, and resource utilization.
• Manage backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
• Implement and enforce database security policies in collaboration with the DBA Team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Work closely with the DBA Team to implement the best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process improvements.
• Provide regular updates and reports on database performance, incidents, and upcoming changes.
• Assist in evaluating new database technologies and solutions under the guidance of the DBA Team.
• Participate in team meetings and proactively contribute to database strategy discussions.
• Other requirements raised by management High Availability & Scalability.
• Support high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions, including replication and failover strategies.
• Optimize databases for scalability and efficiency in a growing production environment.
• Collaborating with the DBA Team on capacity planning and future database needs Automation & Performance Tuning.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine DBA tasks.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring smooth database operations. 
• Work with the DBA Team to enhance database monitoring and alerting systems.
• Maintain up-to-date database documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. 
• Share knowledge with the other DBA team members, as encouraged by the DBA Team.
   

What You need to know:

• Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a DBA. 
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Experience with replication and performance tuning. 
• Experience in Linux environment.
   

Nice to have:

• Shell scripting or Ansible for automation. 
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like PMM, Grafana, Nagios, or similar.
• Security & Compliance: Understanding of database security, access controls, and compliance standards. 
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution. 
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with the DBA Team and cross-functional teams. 
• Certifications: nice to have certifications that indicate the candidate is up to date with modern database technologies and best practices. 
• Ability to work on call rotation and provide 24/7 production support.

We are looking for a SQL Developer to join our team! 

 
You’ll be working on international projects for a company that provides audit, consulting, and financial advisory services from the USA. 

Our team consists of: Technical Delivery Manager, Business Systems Analyst, Application Architect, Developers, QA Engineers. 

Requirements: 

• 2+ years of database development experience; 
• Experience with Tableau; 
• Good knowledge in MS SQL Server(starting with MS SQL 2008); 
• Good knowledge in writing and optimizing stored procedures using T-SQL; 
• Deep understanding Isolation levels; 
• Proficiency in ETL(starting with SSIS 2010); 
• Experience with Agile development practices; 
• Azure Data Factory; 
• Ability to work in a team and learn quickly. 
• Intermediate level of English. 

Will be a plus: 

• MS SQL Azure, .Net, JavaScript; 
• TFS, Git. 

Responsibilities: 

• Data modeling, database optimization, supporting data migration process;

Metal Expert — інформаційно-аналітичне агентство, що просуває свої інформаційно-статистичні сервіси по ринках металургії, хімічної промисловості, вантажних перевезень. Експлуатуємо та розвиваємо декілька баз даних ринкової інформації під управлінням DB2 та базу CRM системи під MS SQL.

Запрошуємо до команди ІТ відділу розробника реляційних баз даних.

Для статистичних сервісів треба організувати процес CI/CD, включаючи модульні та інтеграційні тести, забезпечити безперервний процес покращення конструкцій усіх БД, впровадити OLAP у бекенди наших сайтів.

Від кандидата вимагаються:

- досвід роботи в подібних проєктах від 1 року

- тверде знання теорії реляційних баз даних

- знання англійської на рівні читання технічної документації,

- відповідальність та увага до дрібниць

- навички використання сучасних РСУБД, оптимально — MS SQL та DB2, але можна й інші, якщо готовий навчатися

- вітається знання засобів моделювання БД на кшталт Sybase PowerDesigner та фізичних аспектів реляційних сховищ.
