What we're looking for in designers:
- Desire to be the main owner of the project. Your role at Other Land goes beyond just design. Our clients and our team look to you as the central figure of the project, delving deep into project specifics, business objectives, user needs, and technical limitations. While you'll always find support from our Design Lead, Project Manager, or Mentor, it's ultimately your call to stand behind your solutions in front of the client and our team.
- Strong communication skills. In Other Land, designers arenβt behind the scenes; they're front and center. You should be comfortable translating your design solutions into clear "whys" and defending your design decisions. In a discussion-heavy environment, we need communicators who can effectively bridge the gap between problem space and solution space. And yes, strong English is a must (πΊπΈ).
- You are ready to work autonomously. We don't use time trackers in our team (if it's not a client request). Instead, we operate on a foundation of mutual trust. Given the freedom we provide, we expect our designers to be adept at self-management, ownership, and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
β’ Recruit and screen video editors in Ukraine β minimum of 50 candidates per month must pass our initial qualification test.
β’ Select and onboard the top 1β3 editors each month from the qualified pool based on performance and fit.
β’ Manage a local team pipeline of freelance video editors to support ongoing content production needs.
β’ Actively recruit on freelance platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, and others to find top international talent.
β’ Expand recruitment efforts to additional areas as the company grows (e.g. scriptwriters, designers, project managers).
β’ Work closely with our content and production teams to ensure talent quality, availability, and retention.
Requirements:
β’ Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in creative or tech sectors.
β’ Strong communication and organizational skills.
β’ Ability to identify top talent quickly and efficiently.
β’ Comfortable working with performance tests and quality standards.
β’ Fluent in English and Ukrainian or Russian.
β’ Self-motivated and able to work independently.

We are expanding rapidly and looking for talented Video Editors and Creative Trailer Editors who can turn short-drama episodes into engaging trailers that make people click, watch, and fall in love with our shows.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Edit trailers for drama series (60 to 90 seconds) using source footage provided by our production team.
β’ Craft emotionally engaging story arcs that resonate with international audiences.
β’ Collaborate closely with our creative team to align with the brandβs visual tone and emotional direction.
β’ Optimize trailers for high-performance in digital ads and social media (especially Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok).
β’ Deliver multiple versions of each trailer (A/B testing formats, captions, pacing, etc.).
What Weβre Looking For:
β’ Proven experience editing trailers, ads, or short dramatic content.
β’ Strong storytelling skills, pacing, and understanding of visual/emotional rhythm.
β’ Ability to work fast, take feedback, and iterate quickly.
β’ Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve proficiency required (After Effects is a plus).
β’ Creative intuition and attention to detail.
β’ English: Intermediate or higher (for internal communication).
