Role Overview

As an Email Marketing Manager, you will own and evolve our email and SMS marketing strategy. You’ll blend creativity and analytics to nurture meaningful relationships with customers at every stage of the lifecycle. 

You’ll be responsible for building and optimizing campaigns and automations, analyzing performance, and continuously testing new ideas to improve results. Over time, you’ll be encouraged to take greater ownership of projects and strategy.

What You’ll Do:

• Grow subscriber lists, maintain list hygiene and strong sender reputation.
• Drive user retention through Email and SMS channels
• Build and manage audience segments based on user behavior and lifecycle stage
• Plan, create, and manage Email and SMS campaigns/automated flows. Write compelling copies and collaborate with designers on visuals and layouts
• Monitor the performance closely, analyze results, outline next steps
• Develop hypotheses and run A/B tests (subject lines, CTAs, incentives, etc.)
• Bring fresh ideas and improvements that help push performance forward

What We’re Looking For:

Required Experience & Skills

• 1+ year of hands-on experience in email marketing
• Experience working with ESPs such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar platforms
• Strong copywriting skills with a customer-first mindset
• Solid understanding of email deliverability best practices and compliance (understanding of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA)
• Results-driven mindset with the knack for analyzing data, forecasting outcomes, and proposing testable hypotheses
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Proficiency in English (B2 / Upper-Intermediate or higher), written and spoken

Your mission: build a systematic Paid Social-first growth engine, close the loop between creative, acquisition, onboarding, and paywall - and make unit economics actually work on iOS subscription products (weekly/annual plans, trials, paywall optimization, LTV-driven economics).

You'll operate with high ownership, speed, and direct access to the CEO. This role is ideal for a UA leader whose core is mobile acquisition - and who is ready to go beyond the channel: own business outcomes, drive product and creative teams, and think in systems, not campaigns.

What You'll Own

• Full growth cycle: acquisition → ASO → onboarding → paywall
• Paid Social-first strategy with focus on Meta scaling and TikTok as a growth lever
• Creative performance as a key growth lever - strategic ownership of the creative pipeline: angles, formats, win rate, iteration velocity
• ROAS, unit economics, and P&L accountability - you're responsible for the number, not just the channel
• Building and leading a team across UA, growth, and creative coordination

• Rebuild the creative testing system if needed: win rate, velocity, feedback loop with the creative team
• Build a roadmap to traffic profitability within 6–8 months
• Set up a structured marketing - product interaction process
• Assess, structure, and stabilize the team - identify gaps, close them

What We're Looking For

Hard requirements:

• 5+ years in B2C Mobile User Acquisition or Performance Marketing
• 2+ years in a leadership role with direct ownership over results - not just managing people, but owning numbers
• Proven track record scaling Paid Social on iOS subscription apps with significant budgets
• Deep understanding of unit economics and P&L management
• Strong command of the subscription funnel: install → trial → paid → retention levers
• Ability to connect creatives, funnels, and analytics into one coherent growth system
• Experience building and managing teams, including hiring and letting go

The company develops high-load online products in the iGaming niche and operates across multiple international markets. Our team brings together experts in performance marketing, analytics, product, and development.

We actively test new traffic acquisition channels, scale successful hypotheses, and build long-term marketing strategies in highly competitive markets.

Key Requirement

• The most important criterion is geo-expertise in South Korea.

  We are specifically looking for specialists with hands-on experience managing traffic in South Korea in the following niches: iGaming, crypto or other high-risk industries.

• Theoretical knowledge is not sufficient. We are looking for real, practical experience working with Korean audiences, localized creatives, local traffic sources.
• Experience with local Korean Platforms Naver, KakaoTalk, Kakao Ads ecosystem, Naver Cafe or other local Korean platforms or alternative Channels (TikTok, Discord, In-app networks, DSP platforms, Native advertising networks, Influencer traffic with a performance marketing approach)

• Hands-on specialist with experience independently launching advertising campaigns, managing budgets and ROI, and understanding marketing funnels, retention, and LTV.
