Overview:

We partner with Banks and Financial Institutions to drive AI adoption at scale and deliver significant business outcomes leveraging Zoral Finance Operating System (fOS) and Zoral Configurable and Adaptable Solutions.

We seek a talented Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in our sales process by bridging the gap between our fOS platform and vast technical capabilities and client’s business requirements. As a Pre-Sales Engineer at Zoral, you will collaborate closely with sales and delivery teams to uncover customer needs, define solutions, help close deals, and kick off new engagements. As a subject matter expert, you will deeply engage with customers to understand their pain points, business objectives, and configure compelling, innovative solutions leveraging Zoral fOS and Zoral configurable solutions library.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Analyze customer requirements, pain points, and business goals to design tailored pre-sales solutions to demo and showcase Zoral fOS capabilities.
• Customer Engagement: Partner with the sales team to deliver effective presentations, tailored demonstrations, and technical discussions that convey fOS and Zoral Adaptable Solutions value propositions effectively.
• Technical Expertise: Showcase expertise in finance (Retail Banking, SME and Corporate Finance), business requirements capture, architecture design, low code, no-code software/application development, workflow automation, decisioning, low code/no code UI development, data/AI tuning, 3rd party integration, Agentic AI, cloud technologies/infrastructure, SQL/GraphQL, BI, Enterprise Security. Knowledge of JavaScript is required.
• Proposal Development: Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to develop detailed proposals, statements of work (SOWs), PowerPoint presentations, and technical demo documentation.
• Relationship Building: Establish trust and rapport with customers through deep technical understanding and clear communication.
• Industry Trends: Stay up to date with emerging fintech technologies and industry best practices to ensure Zoral fOS solutions remain cutting-edge, future proof, and highly competitive.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with high powered internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are demonstrable, feasible, scalable, adaptable, smart, and aligned with customer expectations and needs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a pre-sales, hands-on technical consulting, or solution architecture role.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and understanding of DevOps practices.
• Knowledge and strong programming skills in JavaScript, React, Json, SQL/GraphQL, and MCP server setup and configuration. Knowledge and experience in other programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Go would be a plus. Full stack prior development experience would be ideal.
• Hands on experience building demo systems using low code/no code technologies.
• Experience with AI/ML solutions, data analytics, and some understanding of cybersecurity practices.
• Familiarity with Automation Technologies such as workflow and decision engines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant automation and data base technologies, RPA Scripting, cloud, DevOps, AI/ML technologies certifications.
• Experience with agile methodologies and enterprise-level fintech solution delivery.

Team Leadership

• Provide development and overall delivery oversight and coordination closely working with Solution Architects, DevOps, development and QA team leads.

Key Requirements

Project Management Experience

• Practical experience in project management.
• Solid understanding of the key project management processes
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies

Technical Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in software delivery management with a solid background in software engineering, solution architecture and QA.
• Prior solid hands-on experience in software development (Java, Python, .NET, or equivalent) and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with financial technologies (payments, lending, banking APIs, risk management, fraud detection, credit scoring, etc.).
• Utilization if generative AI and automation to solve repeatable or time-consuming management and software engineering problems.
• Expertise in API design, event-driven architecture, Kubernetes and DevOps bets practices would be a plus.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a hands-on approach to execution.
• Strong ability to bridge the gap between business and technology, translating high-level goals into actionable delivery plans in partnership with technical leads.
