Responsibilities:

• Design data science, statistical, machine learning and deep learning systems that influence millions of players
• Implement and optimize appropriate ML algorithms and tools for time series and tabular data
• Transform data science prototypes into full-scale products, while deploying and monitoring ML models
• Run live tests and experiments
• Train and retrain systems when necessary
• Create or extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
• Collaborate with other scientists, engineers, architects and analysts spread across several countries

Requirements:

• MSc in Computer Science, or any related degree
• Solid working experience in Python and Java - high coding standards, clean code, well documented, and extensive unit testing- Must.
• Experience working with databases (SQL and no-SQL)
• Experience with Scala
• Experience with training, testing, deployment, and monitoring real-time (or near real-time) machine learning models in production
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (like Keras, Tensorflow, or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn) - Big Advantage. 
• Experience with Big Data tools, in particular batch and stream processing (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, etc.) - Must 
• Good understanding of container & orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) - Must
• Experience working on high-scale, production-grade projects
• All-around team player who is a self-motivated, fast learner

Responsobilities: 

• Maintain and improve existing monitoring configurations (alerts, dashboards, service discovery, scrape configs, etc.)
• Implement and enhance alerting logic, including threshold tuning and dynamic alert conditions
• Troubleshoot monitoring and metrics-related issues (e.g., missing data, false alerts, broken dashboards)
• Support and improve self-developed metrics collectors and Python-based monitoring services
• Assist NOC and SRE teams with alert deduplication, escalation rules, and alert quality improvements
• Participate in design and implementation of observability improvements for new services and infrastructure components
• Review, modify, and extend existing scripts and plugins (primarily Python and Bash)
• Provide monitoring-related guidance to development, infrastructure, and operations teams
• Ensure monitoring tools and services operate reliably within Kubernetes clusters and Linux systems
• Maintain monitoring configuration in Git and follow internal version control best practices
• Participate in cross-team initiatives to improve the overall monitoring and incident response ecosystem

Requirements: 

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems (primarily Ubuntu)
• Practical knowledge of Prometheus ecosystem, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and Zabbix
• Experience supporting monitoring systems in Kubernetes-based infrastructure
• Solid scripting skills (Bash)
• Familiarity with Git and common version control workflows
• Good understanding of networking and infrastructure concepts (ports, protocols, DNS, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot metric collection, alert firing, and data visualization issues
• Basic knowledge of SQL (e.g., for querying time-series or metadata stores)
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Nice to have: 

• Understanding of high-availability and failover patterns in observability systems
• Experience working with SLO/SLA-based alerting or anomaly detection mechanisms
• Exposure to automation and CI/CD pipelines for monitoring infrastructure

What will you be doing?

• Operate and maintain large-scale production database infrastructure across global studio environments.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical data systems.
• Collaborate with SRE, infrastructure, and development teams to design and support resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient database solutions.
• Own the full database lifecycle: provisioning, configuration, monitoring, upgrades, and disaster recovery.
• Drive automation, standardization, and operational excellence across database environments. · Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, contributing to global database stability.

Your Experience & Skills

• 3–5 years of experience as a production DBA in a global, high-availability environment.
• Experience with MariaDB, SingleStore, or PostgreSQL — strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of replication, clustering, and distributed database systems.
• Familiarity with containerized DB deployments — an advantage.
