Automation QA (Java, API testing) Engineer (offline)

Requirements:
— Experience in Java;
— Experience in API testing;
— Knowledge of JIRA;
— Knowledge of Testing tool / JUnit / Mockito;
— Familiar with and can articulate different test methods & approaches as they pertain to service layer application testing;
— Understanding of the role and timing of regression testing on Agile teams;
— Strong communication skills.

Will be a plus:
— RestAssured / SwaggerHub / Hoverfly / TestNG.

Responsibilities:
— You will be integrated into the day-to-day life and responsibilities of being an Agile Scrum team member;
— Grooming backlog User Stories for both proper Requirements and Acceptance Criteria;
— Generating test plans for new and updated features from targeted User Stories;
— Testing and automating the scoped/groomed test cases or repairing broken ones;
— Collaborating with dev counterparts to decipher issues/failures/defects while logging appropriately;
— Performing/scoping performance and load testing needs on service applications;
— Updating JIRA, and their team/stakeholders appropriately on all issues/blockers/questions/etc;
— You will need to be proficient in translating user story requirements and acceptance criteria into tests using Java.
