Configuration Engineer (offline)

Profile:
• 3+ years of experience as Technical Support (L3) / System Engineer / Application Support
• Advanced English
• Experience with installation and maintenance enterprise-level applications
• Experienced with Unix/Linux/Solaris
• Professional experience troubleshooting, maintaining, or developing data-driven applications connected to relational databases, XML sources, web services
• Understanding of networking: IP-addressing, data routing, network configuring
• Experience working with SOAP, IBM MQ
• Knowledge of system analysis and design methodologies and tools, and experience with large and complex international systems
• Proven experience in most following high-level skills: logical and physical applications design; technical documentation; networking; security; banking application administration
• Experience with multi-system/ platform program integration
• Good communication and presentation skills, problem-solving skills, learning attitude and openness, process orientation

Will be a plus:
• Understanding of SWIFT concept
• Experience in the financial domain

Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the various applications and international data stores across the enterprise work together seamlessly
• Assist with systems administration, database and system design, script development and implementation to ensure compatibility with the existing architecture
• Install system software and banking standard applications
• Perform system configuration and script development
• Technical and business writing, including formal presentation
• Performance monitoring, capacity planning, system tuning
• Perform testing of software from a performance and availability perspective
• Resolve critical availability problems
• Monitor, analyze and tune system parameters
