Senior Python (+Data Systems Engineer)

ZentixSoft is looking for a Senior Python + Data Systems Engineer! 🚀
 

Format: Full-Time Outstaffing, 100% Remote.

Location: North and South America (Priority). We also consider candidates from Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Poland) ready to overlap working hours up to 22:00–23:00 local time (EET/CET).

🧩 Responsibilities:

• Streaming & Event-Driven Architecture: Design, build, and maintain real-time streaming data pipelines and event-driven architectures in Python.
• Conversion API & Integrations: Implement robust API integrations to process tracking signals and transmit them in real time to ad platform APIs.
• Product Data Pipelines: Develop analytical data processing pipelines integrated directly into our commercial SaaS application.
• System Architecture & Ownership: Own backend microservices, data ingestion, database modeling, and technical decision-making from concept to production.
   

🎓 Our Perfect Match (Requirements):

• Seniority & Mindset: Senior or Staff Engineer with a strong product-building mindset and high architectural ownership.
• Backend Stack: Deep commercial expertise in Python and advanced SQL database design.
• Data Systems: Hands-on experience with API integrations and real-time streaming/event-driven systems (e.g., Python streaming, message brokers).
• Schedule Overlap & Communication: Fluent English (Advanced/C1) and readiness to overlap with US time zones (up to 22:00–23:00 local time for EU-based engineers).
   

➕ Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with Snowplow or OpenSnowcat.
• Domain expertise in Conversion APIs, marketing analytics, tracking analytics, or e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
• Practical experience with GCP (Google Pub/Sub, BigQuery) and Apache Airflow.
