Mobile Automation QA Engineer (Appium)

🚀 We're looking for a Mobile AQA Engineer (Appium)!
White Test Lab is looking for an experienced and proactive Mobile AQA Engineer to join our growing team!
We're looking for someone who can take ownership of mobile test automation, build effective testing strategies, and make independent technical decisions to ensure high-quality results.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong commercial experience in mobile test automation for iOS and Android.
• Hands-on experience with Appium.
• Experience testing React Native applications.
• Experience with web automation (Playwright or similar tools).
• Understanding of web-to-app testing flows, including deep links, onboarding, and account handoff.
• Experience with real devices, emulators, simulators, and cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar).
• Experience with test automation strategy, framework design, and CI/CD integration.
• Understanding of mobile-specific features (push notifications, camera, permissions, OS updates).
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and take ownership of automation processes.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Maestro.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with cross-version testing, including beta OS releases.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Audit existing testing processes and define automation priorities and test coverage.
• Design and implement test automation strategies and frameworks.
• Select appropriate automation tools and define the balance between manual and automated testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for iOS, Android, and web flows.
• Build reusable automation solutions across applications.
• Set up cross-version testing for iOS and Android, including OS updates and beta releases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with the QA and development teams.
