Senior Java Developer

On behalf of our Client from Belgium, Mobilunity is looking for a Java Developer.

Our Client is a rapidly growing HR Tech company in Belgium. The company provides Search & Selection services to connect talent with companies and offers Digital Payroll solutions that support clients working with flexible employment models.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute ideas and actively participate in the innovation and product improvement process
• Design and implement well-structured, testable, and efficient back-end code (Java, Spring)
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations for web and mobile applications
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases (Aurora on AWS)
• Develop modular, reusable services and libraries with future reuse in mind
• Implement and maintain a clear, well-defined application architecture following best practices
• Communicate daily with the team to coordinate development, share progress, and resolve blockers
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing, code reviews, and adherence to established coding standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Java and Spring (Boot, Security, Core, JPA)
• Clean architecture, distributed system design and microservices architecture
• Experience with Spring Framework
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases (preferably Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL)
• Confident level of English (at least upper-intermediate to handle all communications)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Angular
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with GitHub
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for ticket management and documentation
