QA Automation Engineer (Web and Mobile)

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join a technology team working on digital solutions for the banking sector in Cyprus.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building reliable automated testing processes, working with both web and mobile applications, and contributing to the quality of products used in a real banking environment.

The role is primarily focused on test automation, with some manual and exploratory testing when needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests for web and mobile applications.
• Work with Playwright for web automation and Appium for mobile automation.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to identify testing scenarios.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and testing documentation.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
• Identify, document, track, and investigate defects.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and other team members in an Agile environment.
• Support post-release testing and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
• Prepare QA reports and share testing results with stakeholders.
   

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation, ideally at Middle or Senior level.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Appium, ideally both.
• Experience automating tests for web and mobile applications.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Experience maintaining and improving existing test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and defect management.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similar).
• Ability to analyze requirements and design effective test scenarios.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
   

Nice to Have

• Experience with PyTest.
• Previous experience in banking, FinTech, or financial services.
• Knowledge of Greek.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
