Senior Software Engineer - AI-Forward Web Applications

Our client is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer with strong Python and modern front-end development experience to build modern web applications with an AI-forward approach. The role focuses on developing responsive web applications and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), using AI-powered engineering tools to improve development efficiency and integrating AI capabilities into products where they add real value.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience using AI tools, modern front-end frameworks, and Python. Full-stack engineers are preferred, though candidates with deep expertise in AI-driven engineering, Python, or front-end development will also be considered.
 

What You'll Do

• Build modern web applications and Progressive Web Apps using component-based frameworks and responsive design.
• Use AI coding tools and agents daily to accelerate development, testing, code review, and implementation.
• Integrate AI capabilities, including LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent workflows, into products.
• Build and extend Python services and APIs, translating backend contracts into maintainable client-side models.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver reliable applications and establish engineering standards.
   

What We're Looking For

• Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills.
• An AI-forward mindset, with practical experience using AI tools to improve development speed and quality.
• Solid Python experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills, with experience in Svelte/SvelteKit, React, or a comparable modern framework.
• Strong full-stack debugging skills across browser tooling, networking, services, and build systems.
   

Preferred

• Full-stack experience across front-end and Python back-end development.
• Experience building LLM-powered features, including prompt engineering, tool use, and RAG.
• Experience with Progressive Web Apps, including service workers, offline support, caching, and iOS/Android platform differences.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS.
