Manual QA Engineer

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our product team and help us keep iGaming products of our American-based client running smoothly. It’s a project-based cooperation for 2-3 months.

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer with solid gambling experience who understands how online casino products work beyond the UI — from game flows and player wallets to bonuses, transactions, and third-party integrations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into complex business logic, finding edge cases others might miss, and helping a product team build better software.

Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of commercial QA experience, including substantial hands-on testing of complex software products.
• Proven iGaming / gambling experience — ideally with online casino platforms, slots, RGS, PAM, sportsbook, or related gaming systems.
• Strong understanding of casino workflows, game sessions, player balances, bonuses, transactions, and gaming-related integrations.
• Solid experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Strong SQL skills and confidence validating data in relational databases.
• Experience testing distributed systems, microservices, third-party integrations, and asynchronous workflows.
• Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and risk-based testing.
• Experience working with bug-tracking and test-management tools such as Jira, Xray, TestRail, or similar.
• Familiarity with log analysis and monitoring tools such as Kibana, Grafana, Sentry, or similar.
• A proactive mindset and the confidence to challenge requirements, identify risks, and suggest improvements.
• Strong English communication skills (at least B2) and experience working in an Agile environment.

Functions:

• Own product quality: Plan and execute testing across complex iGaming products, identifying risks early and ensuring features meet functional and business requirements.
• Test casino functionality: Validate casino game flows, slot integrations, game sessions, round lifecycle, player balances, and related business logic.
• Validate integrations: Test interactions between RGS, Player Account Management (PAM), wallets, bonuses, payment systems, and third-party providers.
• Test APIs and backend workflows: Validate REST APIs, asynchronous processes, event-driven workflows, data consistency, and service-to-service integrations.
• Handle complex scenarios: Test edge cases involving interrupted sessions, failed transactions, duplicate events, incorrect balances, bonus calculations, and recovery flows.
• Ensure data accuracy: Use SQL to validate records, investigate inconsistencies, and verify business-critical calculations.
• Own regression coverage: Design and maintain test cases, checklists, test plans, and regression suites for existing and new functionality.
• Investigate defects: Analyze logs, reproduce issues, identify potential root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
• Support releases: Perform functional, integration, exploratory, smoke, and regression testing throughout the development lifecycle.
• Improve QA processes: Identify gaps in test coverage, improve testing practices, and contribute to automation where it delivers value.
• Collaborate with the team: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality features.
