.NET Full-Stack Engineer -  Microsoft Teams Bots & Communications
 

We’re looking for an experienced .NET Full-Stack Engineer to join a long-term product team working within the Microsoft Teams ecosystem.
 

The role is primarily backend-focused and combines Microsoft Teams bots, Microsoft Graph integrations, real-time activity processing, notifications, and communication-related functionality.
 

You’ll work on production features inside Microsoft Teams, including bot interactions, activity feeds, communication events, and integration with Microsoft 365 services.
 

What you’ll work on

  • Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Teams bots that process user and system activity in real time.
  • Build and improve a real-time activity feed bot that sends timely notifications to users’ Teams activity feed through Microsoft Graph.
  • Develop integrations with Microsoft Graph API, Microsoft Teams APIs, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Work with Teams-related functionality such as calls, meetings, participants, recordings, call records, notifications, and communication data.
  • Build backend services for collecting, processing, and exposing Teams activity and communication data.
  • Implement real-time functionality using SignalR / WebSockets where applicable.
  • Set up and manage bot authentication and permissions with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Contribute to frontend functionality using React / Angular / TypeScript when needed.
  • Troubleshoot application-level integration issues and improve reliability and performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial experience with C# / .NET
  • Strong backend experience with ASP.NET Core
  • Commercial experience with Microsoft Graph API
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams integrations
  • Experience developing or supporting Teams bots
  • Understanding of Teams activity feed notifications, Graph permissions, authentication, and event-driven integrations
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD authentication and permissions
  • Experience with SQL and REST APIs
  • Ability to independently deliver integrations and troubleshoot production issues
  • English B2+
