Senior AQA
We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to establish and own automated testing across a Salesforce environment. This role is focused on building a scalable automation practice from the ground up, selecting the right tools and frameworks, creating reliable regression coverage, and ensuring quality across Salesforce releases, integrations, and AI-powered agent experiences. Alongside automation, you will contribute to hands-on manual testing, UAT support, and release validation.
Required for this role
- 4+ years of experience in software QA, including 3+ years of Salesforce testing across Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce test automation tools such as Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, ACCELQ, Tricentis, and/or code-based automation frameworks including Selenium, Playwright, or WebdriverIO.
- Experience introducing test automation practices to a team, including evaluating, recommending, and implementing automation tools and frameworks.
- Programming skills in at least one language used for test automation, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience building, maintaining, and scaling automated test suites, ideally from scratch, with strong knowledge of regression and smoke test automation.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including objects, Flows, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, sharing settings, and testing across multiple sandboxes.
- Experience with API testing and automation, including tools and frameworks such as Postman and REST Assured, as well as integration testing of connected systems.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience testing Agentforce or other AI/LLM-based agents, including conversational flows, routing, guardrails, and user interactions.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps and release management practices using Salesforce CLI, Gearset, Copado, DevOps Center, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Working knowledge of SOQL, Apex test classes, Jira, and test management tools such as Xray or Zephyr, with strong manual, exploratory, and defect-reporting skills.
Your responsibilities
- Establish and lead the Salesforce test automation practice by selecting the appropriate automation tools or frameworks and building foundational regression and smoke test suites.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously expand automated test coverage for critical Salesforce processes, integrations, and business workflows.
- Integrate automated testing into deployment and release processes to detect regressions before production releases.
- Review requirements, user stories, and solution designs, identifying gaps, risks, edge cases, and missing acceptance criteria before implementation begins.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and clear UAT scripts that support both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Execute functional, regression, exploratory, and security-related testing across Salesforce configuration, Lightning components, Flows, validation rules, and Apex-driven functionality.
- Design and automate API and end-to-end tests for integrations between Salesforce and external systems, while supporting test data management, imports, and migrations.
- Validate and automate testing of AI-powered agents, including conversation flows, action routing, guardrails, escalation paths, and ongoing regression verification after updates.
- Support UAT and release activities by coordinating testing efforts, managing defects in Jira, performing post-deployment smoke testing, and providing go/no-go recommendations for releases.
