Node.js Developer with LLM

Glorium Technologies 🔥 Responds Quickly
$$$$

Build the backend of a custom AI platform from scratch for a US general contractor modernizing its federal bidding process. You’ll work directly with an architect and AI expert, influence foundational technical decisions, and gain hands-on experience with document processing, LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, and multi-tenant data.

The platform will turn solicitations from SAM.gov into structured insights, evaluate opportunities against company certifications and past performance, and support proposal drafting and submission. Your work will power a Go/No-Go engine that helps teams decide which bids to pursue.

A new team member will be in charge of:

  • Building the backend foundation: project setup, authentication, role-based permissions, and an immutable audit log.
  • Implementing solicitation intake from SAM.gov, PDF/DOC/HTML parsing, and OCR with per-field confidence scores.
  • Building LLM orchestration for structured extraction, retries, fallbacks, citation tracking, and cost control.
  • Developing bid scoring against certifications and past performance, with Word, PDF, and Excel exports for Go/No-Go reviews.
  • Preparing the platform for production: OWASP baseline security, secrets management, CI/CD in the client’s AWS environment, and runbooks and documentation for handover.

Does this relate to you?

  • 4+ years of backend development with Node.js and TypeScript, using Fastify, NestJS, or Express in production.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL schema design, migrations, and pgvector for RAG.
  • Production experience integrating Anthropic, OpenAI, or Amazon Bedrock, including structured outputs, retries, RAG, and managing cost and latency.
  • Experience with AWS ECS/Fargate, S3, RDS, CloudFront, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with PDF parsing, OCR, and REST/OAuth integrations, including public APIs.
  • A structured workflow with Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, covering task analysis, drafting, review, testing, and validation. Examples of your work, including an LLM feature shipped to production.
  • English B2+

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS, government contracting, or construction data such as SAM.gov and Xactimate-type pricing.
