Principal/Staff DevOps Engineer

Office in Krakow!

We’re looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to build the cloud platform for a next-generation transactional system designed to support millions of concurrent users.

This greenfield project involves real-time financial transactions, strict regulatory requirements, and extreme traffic spikes. You’ll build the AWS infrastructure from scratch, ensuring high availability, sub-second performance, security, and reliability before production launch.

What you’ll do:

• Design multi-account AWS infrastructure and networking.
• Build a scalable EKS platform using Terraform and GitOps.
• Set up CI/CD, observability, SLOs, and incident response.
• Implement security controls, audit trails, and disaster recovery.
• Lead platform migrations and establish infrastructure standards across teams.

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years in DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering, including 3+ years at Staff/Principal level.
• Deep AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform expertise.
• Experience building CI/CD and cloud platforms from scratch.
• Background operating high-availability systems under heavy traffic.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Fluent English.
