About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior/Lead Blockchain Engineer with strong expertise in Rust, Stellar, and Soroban to join an exciting blockchain project.
The initial engagement will involve a technical discussion with the client to evaluate project requirements, architecture, and potential implementation approaches.
There is an opportunity to transition into a long-term development or technical leadership role.
Requirements
- Senior/Lead-level experience in Rust development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Stellar and Soroban.
- Commercial experience with Stellar/Soroban, ideally across 1–2 production or client projects.
- Experience developing and integrating smart contracts.
- Solid understanding of blockchain architecture, distributed systems, and security principles.
- Ability to design technical solutions and evaluate implementation complexity.
- Experience communicating directly with clients and discussing technical architecture.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Ethereum/EVM and Solidity.
- Strong knowledge of Async Rust.
- Experience with RPC, blockchain event indexing, and transaction signing.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and backend development.
- Knowledge of Docker and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Previous experience in technical leadership or blockchain consulting.
Responsibilities
- Participate in technical discussions with the client.
- Analyze project requirements and assess technical feasibility.
- Provide expertise in Stellar, Soroban, and smart contract architecture.
- Propose scalable and secure technical solutions.
- Estimate development efforts, timelines, and potential risks.
- Potentially contribute to hands-on development and technical leadership as the project progresses.

Important
We are specifically looking for engineers with real commercial experience in Stellar/Soroban development.
Candidates whose experience is limited to personal, experimental, or internal pet projects without commercial application may not be a fit for this opportunity.
