Platform Engineer

As Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, and continuously improving ML and Data Platform solutions across cloud and SaaS environments. Your primary focus will be on platform reliability, automation, infrastructure as code, and the ongoing enhancement of operational processes and engineering best practices.

This is a full-time office job. Candidates must be located in Kyiv.
 

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Develop, maintain, and support ML & Data Platform solutions across cloud and on-premises SaaS/PaaS environments.
• Ensure the stability, availability, security, and resilience of production services and infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and operate observability platforms, including logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics).
• Establish and support on-call and incident management processes using tools such as PagerDuty/OpsGenie.
• Drive vulnerability management initiatives, including CVE assessment and remediation across Docker images, VM images, and platform components, leveraging tools such as Trivy.
• Support and improve CI/CD practices, release processes, and staged environments using GitHub.
• Promote an automation-first culture by developing and maintaining infrastructure automation and operational tooling such as ansible, python/bash.
• Partner with engineering teams to implement platform engineering best practices and improve operational excellence. 

What you bring to the team:

• 7+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience building and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code practices, particularly Terraform.
• Proven experience designing and operating cloud-agnostic and/or hybrid-cloud environments.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and containerized platforms.
• Strong understanding of production operations, observability, automation, and CI/CD best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash.
   

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Local Stack.
• Background in SecOps and security-focused engineering practices.
• Experience with HackerOne bug bounty program
• Experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows.
