Records Marine is a B2B platform for the maritime industry. We connect buyers with vendors through RFQ (Request for Quotation) workflows, a vendor directory, and AI-based parsing of procurement requests. We are a compact product team of developers, designers, and QA, and your work has a direct, visible impact on the platform.

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer who wants to own automated testing end to end and is genuinely excited about using AI tools to do it faster and better.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated tests for our web platform: buyer and vendor portals, admin panel;
• Cover core flows: authorization, RFQ creation and distribution, offer submission and acceptance, vendor profiles and directory;
• Automate REST API checks to validate business logic and data flows;
• Use AI assistants (Claude, Copilot, or similar) to write, refactor, and maintain tests. This is how we work, not an exception;
• Analyze test runs, separate real defects from flaky tests, and report clearly;
• Log and track bugs in Zoho Sprints;
• Maintain test documentation in Docmost: test cases, run reports, coverage overview;
• Work with developers and our Manual QA to decide what to automate next and reduce the testing bottleneck before releases.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in web QA Automation, or strong hands-on practice from courses and personal projects;
• Practical experience with Playwright;
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript;
• Solid testing fundamentals: test design, locators, waits, test data, causes of flaky tests;
• REST API testing and automation experience;
• Basic SQL for data verification;
• Git and an understanding of how tests run in CI;
• Daily use of AI tools in your work. We will ask you to show how;
• English: Intermediate+ (B1–B2), enough to read documentation and write clear reports.

Nice to have

• Manual QA background (web);
• Reporting tools (Allure or similar);
• Experience with B2B or marketplace products.
