For our client we are looking for a Senior Software Developer, Python (80%) / Java (20%)

 

Key Data:

Start: 26.10.2026

End: 30.10.2027

Utilisation: fulltime / 40hrs per week

Language: English

 

Project:

The work covers further development of Wide-Area Monitoring Applications (Advanced Monitoring, Load Frequency Control, Power Quality), analysis and adaptation of open-source modules, and development of new modules

 

Skills (must-have):

at least 5 years of experience developing IT solutions in line with client IT strategy and standards, including:

Python application development with FastAPI, Kafka and Helm Charts

Java application development with Spring Boot, JDK 21+ and Maven

experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

 

Should-have:

Kubernetes, Argo CD, Protobuf, Pydantic, Grafana

electrical engineering background

experience with transmission system operators or comparable energy infrastructure companies

knowledge of SCADA, PMU, PQ, protection or fault record data

experience in critical infrastructure

strong technical documentation skills
