Senior Frontend Developer (React)

StairwaySoft is an Israeli-Ukrainian engineering provider of custom software solutions for SMBs and startups. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and evolve user experiences for a compliance and business verification platform used by financial institutions and fintech companies. The product combines real-time data and AI-driven automation to simplify complex compliance workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design and own frontend architecture
• Build fast, accessible, and resilient interfaces
• Turn complex data and AI-driven insights into intuitive user experiences
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams
• Improve frontend performance, testing, component design, and developer tooling
• Own features from development through production

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial frontend experience
• Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript skills
• Strong experience with React.js
• Hands-on experience with Next.js
• Experience with state management, component architecture, and testing
• Experience with REST APIs and asynchronous patterns
• Familiarity with Vite, Webpack, CI/CD, and Docker
• Experience with frontend performance optimization
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Would be a strong advantage:

• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Web performance profiling and optimization experience
• Experience with complex, data-heavy applications
• Fintech, compliance, or RegTech experience
• GitHub projects to share
