Senior .NET Backend Engineer
We’re looking for a Senior .NET Backend Engineer to join a small team and help build a new product from an early stage.
The product is focused on improving warehouse efficiency and space utilization. You’ll work on backend architecture, complex business logic, data processing, algorithms, optimization tasks, and event-driven backend services.
The first goal is to build and validate a working MVP / Proof of Concept, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with ambiguity, making technical decisions, and building things from scratch.

What you’ll do
- Build backend services using C# / .NET
- Design and implement APIs and database workflows
- Work with Kafka and event-driven architecture
- Work with complex business logic and large amounts of data
- Solve algorithmic and optimization-related tasks
- Participate in architecture and technical decisions
- Help build the product from scratch
- Work independently and take ownership of technical solutions
- Use AI coding tools and agentic engineering approaches to speed up development
What we’re looking for
- Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET
- Strong backend development skills
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
- Good understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing
- Strong understanding of backend architecture and system design
- Hands-on experience with SQL
- Experience building and working with REST APIs
- Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and make technical decisions
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
- Experience with optimization, algorithms, or data-heavy systems
- Experience building MVPs / Proofs of Concept
- Experience launching products from scratch
- Experience with logistics, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain systems
- Experience with AI-assisted development / AI coding tools
