Senior Backend Engineer — Accounting API Integrations + Infra

We embed senior engineers inside product teams in Europe and the US. This role is for a Belgian fintech building a business valuation platform used by accountants and auditors.

The work has two halves and they belong to one person:
1. Integrations with Benelux accounting systems: Silverfin (REST), Yuki (SOAP), Exact (OAuth2). Three protocols, three auth models, each with its own way of breaking.

2. The infrastructure those integrations live on: pipelines, secrets, retries, monitoring, and the deploys that keep it all running.

You are a fit if
— 5+ years backend, strong in at least one of Python, Node.js or .NET
— You have built third-party API integrations that went to production and stayed there
— Comfortable with SOAP as well as REST, and with OAuth2 flows
— You own your own infrastructure: Docker, CI/CD, and either Terraform or Kubernetes in real projects
— English C1: you talk to the client directly, not through a manager
— You can overlap with Central European hours

Nice to have
— Accounting, ERP or fintech domain experience
— AWS, Azure or GCP at production scale

Conditions
— Full-time, remote from Ukraine
— $4,300–5,000 per month depending on experience
— Long-term: the integration layer is the first piece, not the whole scope
— You interview with the client before anything is signed, and you meet our CTO first
