Test Automation JavaScript

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join a large-scale online betting and gaming platform supporting internationally recognized brands.
The project focuses on delivering reliable, high-quality web applications and seamless end-to-end customer journeys in a highly transactional environment.
You will work closely with QA Engineers, Developers, Product Owners and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, with a strong focus on test automation, regression coverage and continuous delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright and JavaScript\TypeScript
- Design and extend automated regression test suites for web applications and critical customer journeys
- Create reusable and maintainable test automation components
- Improve and extend the existing automation framework
- Analyse business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to define appropriate test coverage
- Perform functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing
- Validate end-to-end flows across multiple application components and integrated services
- Identify, document and track defects
- Support developers with root cause analysis
- Investigate failed automated test executions and distinguish application defects from automation issues
- Maintain and improve automated tests to increase stability, reliability and test coverage
- Support quality validation of new features before production deployment
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and other QA Engineers
- Participate in refinement, planning and other Agile/Scrum activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing practices and automation strategy
- Support automated test execution as part of CI/CD pipelines
Requirements:
- Strong experience in QA Automation
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Good practical knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience creating and maintaining automated E2E tests
- Experience with web application testing
- Good understanding of functional, regression and integration testing
- Experience working with automated regression suites and test frameworks
- Understanding of CI/CD and automated test execution in pipelines
- Ability to analyse requirements and define test coverage
- Experience investigating test failures and identifying the root cause
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- English at a level sufficient for communication within an international team
- Tax residence in Ukraine required
