Sales Director
About UnderDefense:
UnderDefense is a fast-growing cybersecurity company delivering Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services. We protect companies from real-world threats — and we don’t treat our sales like a game of inches.
Our sales engine is in place: HubSpot, a BDR function, marketing pipeline, and a team of AEs who know how to work. What we need now is the person who makes everything convert — who steps into the deal when it matters, enforces execution daily, and holds the team to the standard that grows revenue.
This isn’t a strategy role. The strategy is set. This is the person who executes it, owns the number, and makes the team accountable for theirs.
What’s in it for you:
- Revenue ownership — You carry quota and earn from it. High bonus tied directly to closed revenue, both team and individual.
- Exit opportunity — You’ll be part of building the success story — and rewarded for it.
- Warm pipeline, no cold start — Marketing, BDR, and channel are already generating. You’re not here to build from zero — you’re here to convert faster.
- HubSpot as single truth — Full visibility into pipeline, deal stages, and activity. You’ll own it — and use it to hold people accountable.
- Managing US market — Lead an American-facing sales team with real enterprise accounts.
- Direct access to CEO — No layers. Real authority to make changes and set standards.
What you can do for us:
- Join active deals at critical stages and act as Executive Sponsor to move stalled opportunities to close.
- Own HubSpot — pipeline hygiene, deal stage discipline, forecasting, and reporting on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
- Run sales cadences: deal reviews, quota check-ins, and accountability rituals that keep the team on track.
- Directly manage the Head of BD and BDR team — set expectations, review performance, and coach in real time.
- Onboard new AEs with a structured ramp and develop playbooks, talk tracks, and battlecards from first-hand closing experience.
- Hire high-performing sales talent across the US market; hold the bar on who stays and who doesn’t.
- Work closely with marketing to share deal insights and sharpen messaging based on won/lost patterns.
- Continuously improve the sales process from outbound through close — ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quota attainment across the team.
