Senior QA Automation Engineer with a STRONG practical experience with Appium

We’re looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience setting up Appium automation environments from scratch and developing and running automation scripts for a mobile healthcare application.
 

We’re currently looking for a QA specialist who can join the project for a limited period of 2–3 months, with the possibility of extending the collaboration further.
 

The project involves automating a mobile companion application for prostheses that connect to a range of prosthetic devices. The application has a demo mode, and a set of manual test cases is already documented in the test specification.
 

Over the course of the project, the main focus will be on:
 

• Setting up the Appium automation environment and integrating it into Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Automating the app’s demo mode and frontend.
• Automating the first set of existing manual test cases.
• Sharing automation best practices and providing hands-on guidance and training to other QA reps on a team.
• Helping the internal tester set up and work with Appium correctly.
• Contributing to the manual testing of the application where needed.
   

We’re looking for someone who can not only contribute hands-on automation expertise but also guide a QA team and establish a solid foundation for mobile test automation.
