PSP Manager
We are looking for an experienced PSP Manager (Gambling) to join our payments team and take ownership of PSP performance, payment integrations and payment operations across our B2C brands and B2B platform.
You will manage relationships with PSPs, acquirers and payment providers, drive new payment integrations, monitor payment performance and conversion, optimise routing and work closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, Fraud, Finance and Customer Support teams.
This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong payments expertise with analytical, technical and commercial skills.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in online payments, with significant hands-on operational ownership
- 3+ years of experience in iGaming, betting, fintech serving gambling, or another regulated/high-risk online sector
- Proven experience managing multiple PSPs, acquirers, aggregators and alternative payment methods
- Experience working across multiple brands, markets, currencies and merchant accounts
- Strong understanding of card acquiring, e-wallets, bank transfers, open banking and local payment methods
- Experience with payment gateways or orchestration platforms such as PaymentIQ, Praxis, Corefy, BridgerPay or similar
- Good understanding of APIs, webhooks, redirects, callbacks, payment statuses and transaction flows
- Experience leading or coordinating PSP/payment-method integrations, UAT and go-live
- Strong analytical skills and ability to investigate payment issues using PSP portals, dashboards and transaction data
- Proven experience improving payment acceptance, conversion or payment reliability
- Understanding of 3DS/SCA, fraud, chargebacks and payment-risk controls
- Experience negotiating commercial terms and operational SLAs with payment providers
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets and BI skills; SQL or the ability to independently analyse transaction data is a strong advantage
- Strong written and spoken English
- Willingness to participate in a defined payment escalation rota
Responsibilities:
- Manage the portfolio of PSPs, acquirers, aggregators, banks and other payment partners
- Own day-to-day PSP performance, escalations, operational reviews and provider scorecards
- Evaluate and onboard new PSPs and payment methods based on market coverage, performance, commercial terms and operational requirements
- Lead the business and operational side of new payment integrations, from requirements and testing through to launch and post-launch monitoring
- Monitor payment acceptance, conversion, technical failures, declines, pending transactions and payout performance across markets and providers
- Investigate payment incidents and coordinate resolution with PSPs, Engineering, Product, Risk, Finance and Customer Support
- Optimise payment routing, cascading, failover and provider configuration to improve payment performance and resilience
- Analyse transaction data to identify performance deterioration, technical issues and payment-risk patterns
- Work with Risk, Fraud, Compliance and BI teams to identify suspicious payment activity while maintaining appropriate risk controls
- Support commercial negotiations covering processing fees, reserves, settlement terms, volume commitments and SLAs
- Maintain payment documentation, integration roadmaps, provider records, incident history and business-continuity plans
- Support B2B clients with payment-provider connectivity, payment-method configuration, testing and operational handover
- Identify opportunities to improve the player payment journey and overall payment experience

Important:
This role follows non-standard schedule. There are no night shifts, but the working hours will be agreed upon with the team to ensure 24/7 operational coverage.
