Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team.

About the project: a biometric identity platform. The libraries we build encapsulate handling of biometric data and drive access-level logic across consumer applications — a regulated domain with hard constraints on how data is stored and used. 

Responsibilities 

• Design, build and maintain TypeScript libraries and reusable packages consumed by other product teams 
• Build reusable React components and modules with clean, type-safe public APIs 
• Define and maintain state management patterns at the library level 
• Own versioning and backward compatibility: semver, changesets, breaking-change policy, migration guides 
• Maintain the build and publish pipeline: bundling (Rollup / tsup / Vite), ESM + CJS output, tree-shaking, bundle-size budgets, peer dependencies 
• Encode access-control rules in the type system so consumers cannot access or render data beyond their permission level 
• Cover libraries with unit and type-level tests; keep the public API stable and regression-safe 
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development workflows 
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to internal engineering standards 

Requirements 

• 7+ years of commercial experience in front-end development 
• Proven experience building and maintaining TypeScript libraries/packages consumed by other teams  
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript: generics, conditional and mapped types, discriminated unions, branded types, declaration output 
• Experience with state management solutions 
• Experience with monorepo tooling (pnpm workspaces, Nx or Turborepo) 
• Strong hands-on experience with React 
• Testing: Vitest/Jest, React Testing Library, type-level testing (tsd / expect-type) 
• Solid understanding of REST services and API contract design 
• Understanding of access-control models (RBAC / ABAC) 
  Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) 
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher 
• Self-motivated, proactive and detail-oriented
